The Ministry requested that all Muggleborns should come to the Ministry and be interviewed for magic acquirement. They wanted to know how Muggleborns "achieve" their magic. It was ridiculous, and Terry had warned that it was actually an interrogation. The Ministry accused Muggleborns to have stolen magic.

He folded the newspaper and got his wand out. 'Expecto patronum!' A penguin patronus shot out of his wand and looked at him. 'Terry, Muggleborn registry? Are the DA and the Order helping us? Should Lizzy and I go there or not?' He flicked his wand and his patronus shot away to find Terry in a speed of light. He put his wand back in and was meaning tp to check on Flurry upstairs, when a knock was heard on the front door.

He paused by the stairwell and held his wand, just in case. He opened the door. To his shock, a recognized man was standing in front of him. His face looked rigid and tired. A bit of scars on his face and he had messy hair. He wore familiar shabby clothes like he couldn't afford to have new ones. The man smiled thinly, faintly, looking tired.

He was Remus Lupin. One of the former defense against the dark art's teacher. He had resigned when Sirius Black was captured. The rumour of him being a werewolf was still unclear.

'P-Professor Lupin?' Joel spoke, unsurely. His hand slipped into his pocket.

'Rest assured,' Lupin said quickly, holding up his hands, which one of it was holding a letter. 'I come in peace. Good day, Joel Lisbon, I assume you already know who I am, your old professor.'

Joel looked inside the house for a second. Then he eyed him suspiciously. 'Why are you here?' he asked.

Without a word, Lupin gave him the letter. Joel opened it and read.

Dear students of Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry,

If you receive this message, it means you are a Muggleborn student under Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. I, Professor Minerva McGonnagall, wished to inform you that the school is currently unfit and unsafe to be attended. I apologise for this circumstances. You must not come to school in this terrible times in the Wizarding World. We are undergoing extreme influence from dangerous parties at the while. I fear the school could be dragged into this horrible situation. It is unsafe for a muggleborn student to attend school this term. Please do not come to Hogwarts until further notice.

Your Headmistress,
Professor Minerva McGonnagall

Joel was halfway finishing the letter, when Lupin spoke, 'Hogwarts Headmistress, Professor Minerva McGonnagall, wants you to know, that you mustn't go to Hogwarts anymore. It's unsafe. We're having a huge turmoil right now. Muggleborns are in danger.'

Joel was aware of the danger. He understood, though he was a bit confused as to why his former defense teacher, who was possibly a werewolf by rumour, was delivering this news. It was more convincing to see Lupin as a Death Eater.

Joel was also aware that McGonnagall's Headmistress position had been revoked in force. Snape was the current Headmaster.

He leered at the newspaper he was holding. Muggleborn registry...

'I read the Daily Prophet,' said Joel. 'Muggleborn registry. I shouldn't go there too, then?' He asked just to make sure that this man's words alligns to his friends' advice, which probably would tell him not to go.

'You should stay away from Hogwarts and the Ministry. It's not safe.'

Joel contemplated. Maybe Lupin can be trusted. He suspected Lupin was part of the Order. He wondered how much he would know. 'What about Harry Potter?'
