Always There For You (Harry Potter OC X OC)

84. Getting Ready-

The living room was massive. People used it for communal purposes, as they know it for socializing with one another in the mansion. The elves of Mrs Longbottom always filled the bowls with snacks and teapots with tea and coffee. A lot of the saved Muggleborns would be found here.

Lizzy and Joel claimed the right to recuperate, taking a cup of tea for them to indulge. They headed out to the second floor and headed somewhere which Joel knew the way. A long hallway and some turns, passing big double doors, then they made it out to a courtyard, facing a massive land of hills.

'Oh wow,' Lizzy spoke, placing her warm teacup on the thick railing. 'This is Neville's grandmother's house? I want to be her grandchild too. This is so fancy.'

Joel snorted and gulped his tea, surprising himself that it was gone in one motion. Lizzy laughed. 'I guess I miss tea so much, I practically inhaled it... I miss tasting things other than water and bread.'

Lizzy's smile diminished. 'Don't fill me in on anything about that horrible place. I might cry.'

'Okay...' he said simply. He glanced at her, seeing her hair wave around by the wind. 'You look beautiful.'

Lizzy looked back, bubbling up a blush up to her face. 'Thanks Joel... although you look a bit thinner. I think you lost a lot of weight while you're there.'

Joel was taken aback. 'Have I?'

'Yeah, but I'll make sure to plump you back in shape. You'll have to eat anything I shove into your mouth, Joel Lisbon,' she said in a cheeky smirk. She went to scoot him back and sit on the railing in front of him, pulling him close by the shoulder, hugging him tight around and kissed him deeply.

'I don't think that'll help me gain weight,' he teased, holding her steadily, not shying away after such an affection.

'I know. But I told you, you can't reject anything I shove into your mouth,' she said with so much love as she kissed him again.

They shared affections and sweet talks. They discussed of the future together, no doubt they could never be apart after this. They were completely a locking soulmate at this point, that they wouldn't choose anyone else.

And Lizzy wasn't kidding when she told him she'd make him gain some weights into his old self. In every time of day, no matter where they were in the house, she would have snacks in her pockets. She would make him eat a jerky bacon or biscuits or cakes. Even when they were in a meeting with the other DA members, she would shove a snack in his mouth, while he was listening intently to a dire topic, and he would chew on it mindlessly, then swallow.

The others would mock them for it sometimes, to say how ridiculous it was, but the two of them didn't care. They would smirk and tease the people more to show their love.

Anthony. He seemed like the busiest one in the house, always arranging and checking some working files kept in a conjured drawer. He stopped to greet Joel and the other DA agents, gathering by a set of sofa.

Joel sat with his girlfriend on one of the sofa, watching Anthony open up this meeting. People talked to one another, sharing their thoughts on matters that mattered.

'They treat Muggleborns like less of a person,' someone said. 'Can't imagine what they'll do to muggles.'

Everyone agreed. The meeting was more of fearing for the worst. Ginny was here and she shared everything she knew so far of the Order's plan. But the detail of this meeting was irrelevant to our story, so let's fastforward to the evening.

Later in the evening, Terry, Michael, Tom, and Carl had arrived. While in the middle of the meeting, the three of them walked in, inviting the agents to look.

'Oh my god!' Lizzy exclaimed as she saw Carl alive. She stood up and ran to hug her best friend tightly. 'Welcome back!'

'The... the smell...' Carl uttered and started shivering crazily.

'Carl?' Lizzy backed away, seeing Carl acting unlike himself.

'Something's weird about Carl. I have to quarantine him,' Michael said. He called Hannah and asked her if there was empty rooms in the house, before he took Carl away.

Terry spoke, 'You must have known the stupidity Liam has done. We had just been there moments ago, having Carl freaking out all the time.'

'Yeah,' lizzy said.

'Guess me and me dad are staying here now.'

'Terry,' Lizzy spoke. 'I believe you have something of mine.'

'Oh right,' he took out her wand from his pocket and gave it to her. 'But I didn't get any of Joel's, sorry, Joe.'

'Oh, okay,' Joel said, though he was a bit disappointed.

'You don't have a wand?' Anthony spoke up. 'Let's see if we have some from the snatchers. Talk to me, after this meeting. Welcome back Terry. Now, where were we?'

Later on, Joel got a new wand. He felt awkward to have a new wand especially if it wasn't by his own will. He missed his old wand, but nothing could be done about it anymore.

Lizzy could see how the DA works, which she didn't have the opportunity before. Everyone were cool-looking, in her opinion. They were like aurors, even if most of them were mere Hogwarts students. She only wished she could use magic to help them, now that she was here.

Ginny, Neville, and Luna arrived in the mansion and everyone fixed upon them. Yet the three most important DA didn't bat an eye on their leer, seeming too preoccupied with the task on hand

'So, I have news, listen up,' Ginny spoke confidentally, entering the mission room full of DA agents. She reminded them that Harry, Hermione, and Ron had a very important mission. She wanted everyone to keep faith in what they do. Then she mentioned about going back to Hogwarts. Clearly, most Halfbloods and Purebloods students here had to go back to Hogwarts, so someone else from Muggleborns had to fill in the work.

The three main key leader, Ginny, Neville, and Luna, had to be given to someone else they fully trust. And in this room, those Muggleborns eho were the closest they could trust were Dean Thomas, Justin Finch-Fletchley, and Joel Lisbon.

'1st of September will come in about a week from now, so we have to transition these job positioning soon,' Ginny spoke. 'It'll be a whole lot of change, yet remaining the same at the same time. I hope everyone's on board.'
