Loona and Vortex

n Cody's dream, he was dreaming that he was with his parents and Tommy. It was such a nice, bittersweet dream he was having. While in his dream, he and the whole family were at DisneyWorld and having a good time as four. Meeting Mickey Mouse, and his friends, enjoying the rides, having their Mickey hats on their heads, the trademark headwear for the theme park. The best part of it was there were no long lines to get on the rides and main attractions of this amazing, timeless theme park that makes everyone smile and be happy (except for the prices).While the four were having a blast together.

While this was very fun, Cody suddenly awoken from his sleep and looked around. granted, it wasn't a nightmare, but it caught him by surprise.

Cody realized that he was in tbe bed that the metal hellhound slept in. "Loona?" he called out. "Are you here?" The child slowly opened the bedroom door to look for his new friend and she was nowhere in sight. he hoped hat he wasn't alone. He peeked at the flat window to look at the red sky that covered the world of Hell.

The child made a sad sigh, realizing that the Disney World thing was just a dream that he had during the night. so it was true that his parents were... not there.

"Cody?" said a female voice. "You ok?"

"Yeah." Cody sighed. "I'm OK. I was dreaming that I was in Disney World with my family, like my parents never really died in the first place."

Loona gave a sympathetic look and put her hands on his shoulders. "I'm sorry."

"No, don't be." the human child said. "besides, I can't just be in dreams forever."

"Heh. that's true." Loona said. "there's some waffles if you want breakfast. Blitz made them himself."

"Sure." Loona walked with the human boy to the table where waffles were served, and the Imp was sitting at the table.

"Ah! good morning, kiddo." Blitzo said warmly. "did you have a good sleep?"

"I did, thanks for asking, Blitzo."

"oh, i told you Cody, the O is silent in my name."

the kid ate the waffles and even though they were made by some imp demon, they tasted pretty good, especially with the melted butter and syrup on it. "So Cody," Loona said, "There's another friend I want you to meet."

"Who?" the boy asked curiously.

"A Hellhound naked Vortex. He's kinda the first friend I made before."

"what about Moxxie and Millie?"

"Bah." Loona shrugged off. "they're just my coworkers. But, no, I've never actually had some real friends until I met Vortex. I've been to a couple of parties that his girlfriend hosts many times. And most times, I just call him Tex."

"He's big, tough, but he can be a marshmallow. A big softie."

"But what if he wants to eat me?"

"Oh you kids." Loona said, gently patting his head. "Don't worry, he won't eat you. He even said that he wants to meet you, too."

"I don't know." Cody admitted, looking sheepish. "What about that Hellhound that tried to eat me before?"

"Oh, he's just a crazy neighbor that lives next to us" Loona said. "Like I said, just stick with me, and you'll be fine. You'll love him, and i'm sure as hell that he will like you."

"What other friends do you have?"

"A couple that i've met at fun Hellhound parties with Vortex. one of them is named Ember, and another named Kiki. both of them are pretty alright Hellhounds."
