Another Rescue For A Friend

Loona was able to come to the human world, she was surprised to see her own human friend was gone. "Cody?" she said. "hello? Kid!" she called out, but there was no answer. When she called him again, there was still no answer. At this; Loona began to feel scared and worried for the kid and his safety. Who knows what happened to him? what could have happened to him. Loona pulled out her phone and called her adopted daddy. "Blitzo!" she shouted. "I can't find Cody anywhere, why did you have to pull me back like that?!"

"Hey, I needed someone to help me get the cookie jar, Loony, You're taller than I am, and you know how much I-"

"Ugh! Shut the fuck up already!" Loona said. "It's like Cody's gone missing and someone might have abducted him thanks to you." she made a wolf-like growl. "Well, I better go find him, but if anything bad happens to him, it's on you, asshole!"

"OK! Ok!" Blitzo sounded scared. "You got a good sense of smell, better than any hound. If anyone can find him, it's you."

"Right. If anything comes up, I'll let you know."

"Got it." She hung up and Blitzo said to himself "Loony, you really need to take a fucking chill pill and not have a stick up your ass all the time."

Cody slowly woke up and he found himself in some kind of operation room. Some metal strap was holding his torso down and his arms were spread out, but bound to smaller straps by the wrists. He was under some kind of light and heard voices talking as his vision was still groggy. "It will be a far more successful than that spoiled rich kid we did." said a voice that sounded like Agent One.

"If this one fails, we can get our asses sued for everything we have and go out of business."

"Come on, we thought this one through this time." the male agent said.

"The last one was a mistake, but yes, this one will not be a mistake. This lobotomy will be far better... like Howard Dully."

"We'll look for a good foster home for the kid here. Someone Christian or Islam, or someone not Satanic." Agent Two said.

"What? Where am I?" asked Cody. The three people looked at the kid and looked glad he was awake.

"Ah, good. You're awake." said Agent One.

"Just in time for you to atone and be reborn." Agent Two smiled.

"What's going on here?" asked the kid. "Wait, you kidnapped me?"

The agents looked quiet but the first one said: "look, I know, it wasn't a very nice thing to... get you like this."

"But we did it because you wouldn't come quietly." the female agent added. "We're only trying to help you."

"Help me? what are you talking about?" asked Cody. "I'm not sick or insane or anything."

"we know that." said the male agent. "But associating with demons is nothing but evil and bad luck. It will ruin your life if you keep associating with them."

"But they are my friends." Cody began to plead.

"Friends with demons?" said the doctor. "Come now, demons don't have any friends."

Cody was quiet and didn't believe those false words. "What do you mean by making be atone?"

"We're giving you a lobotomy." said Agent Two.

While the kid still didn't know what a lobotomy was, he still felt scared shitless. "I don't even know what that is." the kid admitted

"It's a very simple procedure." said Agent Two.

"Yes." said the doctor "We take a small portion of your brain out of your head to give you a better life, with this drill." he pulled out. "To make you more happy, laid back, and far less stressed than you need to be." That drill looked absolutely terrifying. "All your troubles will permanently go away and be a whole new, better you."
