It was later in the night and Cody was still sleeping in his bed while Loona and Blitz were also asleep. Loona was having a nice dream about Vortex and being his perfect girlfriend, wishing that she would just be hers already.

For Blitz, being the creepy, eccentric imp, was having a wet dream about Moxxie and Millie having some... "fun" with their own boss.

In his dream, Cody was dreaming of his old friends back home that he went to school with: Jake, Ronald, Freddy, Selene, Amy, and other friends and classmates. He missed them all, and he wished he can see them all again just one last time

The child was slowly forgetting that Loona had that Grimoire with him and her adopted father. As long as the book was in their possession, anything was possible. Sure, Cody did not have that much friends, but he did have a couple in school.

It was a nice little dream that he was having and it was like the fire had never happened and his parents were never killed.

Alas, he had to wake up some time when the morning light strikes, and he will realize that it was all but a dream. He could call Loona a very close friend, even though he's known her for a short time now.

Cody was also glad that Tommy let him have his decision to stay with Loona in hell. Granted, it was usual, but these demons were nice to him, and far from being mindless minions of Satan, torturing the condemned souls for eternity.

What mattered was that he was going to take a dip in a pool with Loona, Moxxie, Millie, and Blitzo. Along with Octavia and Stolas probably. One thing was that: he didn't have a swimsuit on him, and he most certainly did not want to go in his skimmies.

In the far distance, there was some kind of man that looked like an imp, and had a cowboy-like appearance. He looked menacing and rather taller than most imps would be like. He was polishibg a flintlock in his hands and he got a call. "Striker here, talk to me." he said in a mildly gruff voice. "Oh! hello Ma'am. What can I do ya for this time?" he let his caller speak, whoever that was. "Uh-huh. Uh-huh. Yes, I know ma'am, Blitzo will die. some things require patients, you know i am one of the best bounty hunters in Hell. And... Oh, a kid in hell huh?" he had a sneaky look on his face. "Well," Striker continued, "that's quite interesting."

The morning came and Cody was still snoozing. Meanwhile, Loona already awake and wearing a tank top and pajama pants, and she was on the phone with her favorite person. "Come on Tex, if he won't listen to you, then he'll listen to me."

"It's a very kind offer, but I get the feeling that Blitz hated my guts before he met me with Verosika."

"I'll talk to him. besides, he can give you a good amount of money while working at IMP." Loona said.

"Cool. thank you so much, Loons. Even if Blitz won't give me the job, I can always find another one."

Loona gave a small frown and she really wanted Tex to be with her at IMP, even if he already had a girlfriend. At least she would spend time with him if he got a job and be coworkers with Loona.

"Besides, I wouldn't really wanna kill anyone just really for the fun of it, I would mostly have to kill if I have to." Vortex continued on. "And maybe if I was contracted to do so like a bounty hunter."

"Well that's what IMP is all about, Tex." Loona said. "We get paid to kill people."

"I know. But I gotta go. My girlfriend needs me for some heavy lifting."

"Kay Tex. Talk to ya soon."

"Bye."

After she hung up her cell, Loona went to check on Cody, who was still sleeping. She didn't want him to sleep longer than he should have. Today was when she was going to take him to be in the pool nearby. and she didn't want him to miss the fun.

The kid turned over to one side, and had his back to Loona. God, did this boy look so adorable when he was in slumber. Deep down, Loona felt really bad for the kid after all he had been through. She worried that being captured by Verosika Mayday like that might have traumatized him even more.

She could not bare the thought of having Cody suffer anymore than he had already endured in his life. Loona was glad to have met a nice kid like Cody in her life.

Before she met him, the only person she would consider a "friend" was Blitzo, mostly because he is her adopted father after all. Of course she did met Octavia and Vortex, but still. The day was still very young and just the beginning.

Smiling at him, Loona walked up to Cody and gently rocked him back and forth with her furry hands. "Cody? Cody. wake up." she gently said.

The child began to stir and slowly awoken from his sleep, and his vision was blurry. He stretched his arms and let out a yawn. "What happened?"

"Morning, kid." Loona gently ruffed his head. "Wouldn't want ya to miss our pool day like I said."

"Oh yeah!" Cody got out of bed."I forgot about that." his vision was still a little blurry and he let out another yawn. "I didn't miss anything, did i?"

"No, that's ridiculous."

"Wait! I don't have a swimsuit." Cody realized.

"Don't worry, you can use one of Blitz' swimming trunks."

"Eww! Gross!" Cody said. "I don't want to wear that swimsuit."

"Ugh, you're right." Loona looked disgusted as well. "What the hell am I thinking?" she was thinking of a solution to how Cody can get the proper swimwear. "Well, I guess I can ask Blitz if he can buy some trunks for you."

Cody smiled. "Cool!"

"Well, let me get changed. I'll be right back. Meantime, why not watch some TV?"

"OK, Loona."

The female hellhound took a bikini and went to the bathroom to change. As soon as she came out minutes after, she was almost completely naked, except for the two-part bikini that covered her waist and unmentionables. It looked like any other two piece swimsuit, and this swimwear had jet black like colors. She also had sunglasses on her eyes to keep the sun from getting in her eyes and to look cool.

"Wow Loona," Cody said. "You look beautiful."

Loona flushed and said: "Thanks, Cody." before he knew it, he felt his forehead being gentle kissed by Loona's warm lips for about one second.
