Meeting Misty Again

Another round of applause was heard in the pub and the five demons were glad to receive recognition like this. First at the club with Octavia, then the party at Satans', Fizz'. Club, and now this.

it was like Cody was on a role with this kind of thing. He even wondered if he can make a career out of this kind of activity.

Yet again, only one out of millions can make it to the very big top (and if people have good taste in music at all). So he wouldn't push his luck.

Then, Blitzo jumped on stage and hugged Loona, much to her annoyance. Then he gave her a big kiss on the cheek, making her growl and punch him away.

Blitzo immediately got up, still happy and said: "Loony, I am so proud of you."

"Shut up, it's embarrassing." Loona blushed.

"Oh come on." said Tilla as she went up to Cody. "He is just complimenting you."

"Blitzo, what are you doing here?" Cody said. "Not that I didn't want you here, but I thought you weren't coming."

"What?" said the founder of I.M.P, slowly grasping his head to ease what was left of his headache. "Can't a guy congratulate the people I care about tonight? And it was a good choice."

"Thank you." Cody smiled.

His brother, Tommy went up to his little bro to congratulate him as well. "You did good, buddy. Very cool. I'm proud of you. If mom and dad were here, they would have been proud too

"I know. But if Mr Belmont saw this, he would have a heart attack."

Tommy couldn't help but chuckle. "What does that bitter man know? He pretty much hates everything."

"Well... I did meet him a couple of days ago."

His big brother frowned. "Uh-oh." He said. "He didn't bother you too much, did he?"

"No, he said he was sorry about what happened with my parents."

"Ah. Well, if you ask me, guys like him are always bad news. So here's my advice, stay away. Ok?"

"Oh yeah. I didn't even want to talk to him."

"No, I understand, Cody. I'm just saying, people like him are not to be bothered with. And it's no wonder he doesn't have any friends."

"Hey kid," said Crymini. "We did it again."

"I know."

"Ever thought about making a career out of this?" Asked Octavia.

"Never thought about it." Cody admitted. "I mean yeah, I've been to a lot of concerts, but I never thought about being in a band."

"If you want my opinion," said Tex. "You should do something like that. You got the voice."

"even though Fizz gave me two axes to help me defend myself?"

"You got axes?" asked Celeste

"Only to defend myself. Not to kill people for fun. I promise."

"heh. Well, mind if I see what you can do with them?" Tommy smirked. "I'm getting a little curious."

"Well I'm still getting the hang of them." Cody admitted. "And I don't want you to freak out about me using them."

"Why would I freak out?" Tommy asked

"Well, because... I'm kind of the... only member of our family left." the kid rubbed the back of his head. "And I know that what happened to mom and dad traumatized you too."

His elder brother frowned. "Well of course I am shaken by what happened too. They're my parents too."

"plus you saved me from death a couple of times. I was worried that you would think I'm just a fragile little kid."

"Well you are still a little kid." Moxxie pointed.

"Mox, that's not helping." Millie bumped her elbow to his right arm.

"Ow, sorry."

"Cody, I get it. But I know you are stronger than you look and than how old you are. Looks and age aren't everything."

"He's right." said Loona. "You are strong in the inside."

Cody smiled.

"Well, isn't that nice." said Fizzaroli.

"Oh fuck off, Fizz." Blitzo said. "This is the kid's adoption party."

"And I thought you wouldn't show up." Fizz mocked his former best friend.

"Leave him alone, Fizzaroli." Tilla stepped up.

"Tilla? I thought you were... you know."

"Well I am back." said Tilla.

"Look, I don't have any beef with you."

"Please, give my son a break." said the female imp. "I know he did questionable things, but he is trying to be a better imp than he was before."

"she's not wrong." said Moxxie. "He really is trying."

Blitzo smiled and was grateful to have some people caring about him like this.

The party was over and the next day had come. It was quite the party last night. Cody got himself enough to eat for the day from the catering table and was glad was able to come to the party with his mother.

School was back in session for Cody since the shooting by those chorts. He got out of the shower and before coming to Loona to teleport him to school, he heard the doorbell rang, and the female hellhound went to answer it.

"Yeah who-" she paused to see Misty. "oh, it's just you."

"Hey!" Misty greeted. She looked at Cody with her perky smile. "Hi Cody, wanna play in the arcade?"

"Sorry, I have school today." Cody said

"Blegh. School is the worst." Misty gagged.

"Well bite me." said Loona. "so if you don't mind, I gotta take him to earth. Come on, Cody."

He held her hand as the female hellhound opened a portal from Hell to Earth once again as Misty walked away. She thought that perhaps maybe she can hang out with Cody when he gets back from school.

On the surface, Cody heard the school bell rang and looked at Loona in her hellhound form. "I'll see you later, Loona."

"Have a good day, kid." Loona smiled as she watched the kid go off back to school.
