Walking down the street a few blocks from the apartment, Cody was out getting a drink from the convenience store with Loona, who wanted some vanilla coffee for herself.

He hoped that Boulder and his cool friends were finding people to help support him and not completely influenced by crazy-ass Belmont and his followers.

He hoped that there were some people that were not twisted and corrupted by the fear and total bullshit Belmont and Adam had poured into their brains. Deep down, Cody hoped that he can save the rest of the townspeople from this stupid yet dangerous lie. "Cody!" A kid's voice called in the distance. Looking behind him, it was revealed to be Misty, who was running up to him in an astonishing speed that would make a cheetah or a falcon's jaw drop in awe. The hellhound girl panted and stopped. "There you are, Cody." She panted. "I've been looking for you."

"Hey Misty." Cody said. "What's going on?"

"Just bored and wanted to hang out with you again." Misty smiled. "Whatcha wanna do today?"

"Now's not a good time, kid." Loona said. "Cody is going through a very serious problem."

Misty frowned. "A problem?" She asked. "Well shit, what kind of problem?"

"It's nothing to worry about." Cody replied. "Me and my friends can handle this problem."

"Come on, tell me." Said Misty. "Is there a bully picking on you?"

"He said it's nothing, Misty." Loona began to sound to a little impatient with the female hellhound girl. "We got it under control here."

"Cody, I can help you with whatever is going on. I can even rip this Bully's throat out with my teeth and make him cry like a fucking baby." Then she had a thought. "Or I can give him the To the pain kind of treatment." She cracked her knuckles.

"Misty," Cody tried to assure her some more, but then the hellhound kid pulled out one of her biggest weapons. She was quivering her lower lips and had the most adorable eyes she had ever created, looking like she was about to cry a river of tears. Cody knew that kind of face anywhere.

"Oh, here we go." said Loona with a sigh and her arms crossed. Yes, she knew very well where this was going since she had did this with Blitzo many times before. "Hope Cody doesn't fall for this trick."

"Please tell me, Cody?" said Misty in a baby voice. "I am your friend, and i really do want to help you. I'll make sure no sick fucker would ever hurt you."

Cody tried to resist, and was about to politely tell her no. "Look, Misty," he said: "I just don't think that-" before he could finish, Misty had a look like she was really about to cry a river of tears now. Her pupils grew bigger showing how sincere she was. "Gah! OK, Ok, i'll tell you."

"Yep, there it is." Loona said to herself with a smirk.

Misty's demeanor immediately changed from very sad to her usual happy demeanor. "Ok!" she said. "Do tell me."

"Well, we're about to head down to the convenience store for a drink." said Cody. "If you want a drink."

"Sure, that sounds fun." said Misty.

"But you're gonna have to buy it yourself." said Loona flatly.

"Heh, whatever." Misty said in a flat voice. At the gasoline, the young adult female hellhound got her adopted brother a forty-four gallon cup of diet root beer, and Missy bought herself some Dr. Pepper in one of those large reusable cups. After all, Hellhounds have the appetite of a lion or a cow. The hellhound girl wasted no time in taking giant gulps of her soda and when she was done, it was already almost empty, for she got a big refill for her reusable cup.
