Still crying over the lost of his uncle and his gang by those fucking crazy apostates, Cody was sobbing on Octavia's bed in sorrow of the loss of another cherished family member. Loona was outside Octavia's door and feeling so bad for her adopted brother about all that had happened. Tommy was with her too, for Boulder was his beloved uncle as well. A few tears escaped Tommy's eyes as well, for the loss of his and Cody's uncle is too much to bear. It was almost like he was starting to hate Heaven now.
Poor Cody was also starting to hate Heaven since these Exorcists demons look like some of the most bloodthirsty monsters that he had ever seen. It looked like Heaven wasn't the perfect afterlife after all. What kind of a God would even let these kind of so-called "angels" in Heaven in the first place.
At least, deep down, Cody hoped that his uncle was reunited with his parents at least. Another thing he had hoped for was that, if many of the angels were not giving him and his buddies a hard time since they just died. "Cody?" said Loona after knocking on Octavia's door three times.
There was no response from the boy, and he finally said: "I need to be alone."
Loona frowned, knowing that this was not something her adopted brother to recover so fast at first. Didn't this kid suffer enough already? what more will he witness tobreak his spirit? "Tom, when are your Legionnaire friends going to be there?"
"I texted them about it." Tommy replied. "It won't be for another six hours."
"Six fucking hours?!" Loona exclaimed in disbelief. "We can't wait that long!"
"Hey hey hey, they're in a helicopter, not a rocket, Loona!" Tommy said defensively. "Don't take your anger out on me!" Loona made a small growl in reply, showing her sharp teeth. "Cody is not the only one to lose another family member you know?"
"OK, ok! Arret! (stop!)" said Celeste. "Arguing solves nothing. And you shouldn't be screaming in front of the door, because Cody is in there!" They realized that she was right, they didn't want to make Cody cry with all the bickering and arguing.
"She's right." Loona said. "i just can't believe what's going on. I mean, i'm ok with bloodshed and killing people, but... i have limits."
"Right, you're not as mean as you look."
"Don't remind me, Tommy." The female hellhound said in a begrudging voice. "But yeah, the kid means everything to me." She calmed down a little. "But I will make sure that Belmont dies a very painful death. I will make him beg for death."
"Loona," said Tommy, "count me in on killing that so-called priest.
"You can count me in, aussi." Celeste sounded just as firm as her husband and Loona.
"But... maybe Cody should stay here. I mean. He is the prime target." Loona realized. "If anything happened to him, I would never forgive myself."
"Same here, Loona." Tommy realized she was right. Sure those pious, crazy apostates may have killed Heaven's Demons, but they were after the kid. Bringing him all the way from here back to Earth would be a terrible idea since most of the people in Cody's town think he is the doombringer of all mankind.
after all, Cody was going through enough trauma as it is. "I'll go talk to him about this."
Slowly opening Octavia's door, Loona walked up to Cody, still sobbing on the bed.
"Leave me alone." Cody sniveled
"Cody, it's ok."
"No, it's not." Cody looked at his adopted older sister, tears streaming down his cheeks. "Uncle Boulder is dead."
"And we'll avenge him and his friends." Loona reassured him.
"I don't really like killing anyone." Said Cody, "but Belmont as gone too far." Then a look of anger, hatred, and rage appeared in his eyes. "I have to stop him. We need to get back to Earth and stop him." He pulled out the revolver Moxxie gave him, and tried to walk out the room, but Loona gently stopped him.
"Whoa there, Turbo." She said. "I like your spirit, but it's you he wants."
"So?"
"So, if you go up there, they will stop at nothing to kill you. You saw how outnumbered we were up there."
"Yeah but, I want to help."
"We don't want your help." Loona sounded a little firm this time. "I want you safe from those crazy fuckers."
"But,"
"She's right, Cody." Moxxie came in the room. "We can't lose you."
"We ain't gonna give that priest what he wants." Said Millie.
"Just listen to her." Said Tex. "So what she tells you."
"We got it under control." Said Blitzo, pulling out his golden pistols.
"But... what about you guys?" Asked Cody
"Don't worry about us." Said Celeste. "That Belmont is as good as dead."
"And we'll make sure he pays for all that he did." Said Tommy
"But-"
"No buts." Said Loona in a soft but firm voice. "You'll be safe here."
Cody looked very unsure and wanted this nightmare to end so badly. But, he was just a kid, and they are the adults here. So he has to listen to them. "Ok. Be careful."
"We will." Said Tex.
Loona opened the book and she, along with everyone else stepped through the portal to finish the job, leaving Cody worried that they might not make it out of there alive.
This was all so much for Cody to take in, but he had no choice. And he didn't want to lose anyone else that he loves and cares about.
On Earth, little did Loona and the others know that they were ambushed by the DHORK agents with One and Two looking smugly at them with their arms behind their backs. There were about fifteen agents that came down from the trees with weapons in hand
Did you miss us, assholes?" Said Agent One.
"Oh shit." Blitzo muttered.
Before the demons could fight off these agents again, they all heard the sound of guns cocking.
The soldiers under Belmont came out from behind the bushes and trees with assault rifles in hand. It looked like they were in trouble now.
