Painful Ankle

After he was done vomiting a few times, Cody was ready to go back home. Charlie and Vaggie just wanted to say goodbye for now before he would leave the mansion. "Listen Cody, it was so nice to meet you." said Vaggie. "And I know this probably wouldn't be the first time someone has said that about you, but... I think you're cute and really adorable." she knelt down and gave him a gentle, tender kiss on the forehead just to be affectionate. The other demons, including Charlie went "Ooh," at the sight of this, and Cody blushed after this. "Sorry, I couldn't help myself." Vaggie admitted. "I just wanted to do it for the sake of it."

"It's ok. You're not the only one to kiss me. Verosika did it to me a couple of times before. And I still hate her."

"Well don't dwell on her, kiddo." said Loona. "Thanks for watching him, Stolas, Octavia."

"Our pleasure, Loona." Octavia smiled. "Stay safe Cody,"

"And be careful out there." Stolas sang.

"I will guys. Bye." the kid promptly exited the main hall with Loona and the gang, and they were going down the long flight of stairs as they were going out. "So did Sheryl scream so much?"

"She sure did." Moxxie did.

"You should have seen her screaming for mercy." Millie added.

"No thanks," Cody admitted. "I think the head is good enough for me."

"Whatever floats your boat." said Tex. "And no one will ever suspect a thing about us. They'll just blame Mexico and it won't be our problem. Smooth sailing from here."

Cody smiled. "Good." They walked down more and more steps and as he heard some comments about how amazing that kill on Sheryl was, Cody felt his right foot bend over and he suddenly slipped on one of the steps and felt a sharp pain in his right ankle. He tumbled a few times, making the demons gasp in shock and Cody stopped as he exclaimed in pain. "Ow! Ow! Ow!"

Loona rushed to the kid's aid and knelt down and looked at him. "Cody what happened? Are you ok?"

"OW. I don't know. I think I twisted my ankle." Cody said before going like: "Ow, ow ow. Man it hurts." He felt like crying from the immense pain but he tried to hold it in himself and felt the throbbing of his ankle happen some more. "Did I break it?"

"Can you walk?" asked Moxxie

Cody then felt himself get back up with the help of Loona and let him go to see if Cody can still get on that foot. The kid gently places his foot on the step and he felt more pain come to him from that slip. "Ah!" he exclaimed. Despite that, he did manage to get his foot on the ground and tried to walk with it. Maybe it was just sprained and not broken.

"Here, let me see your foot, kiddo." Loona said

Cody then undid his shoe and his sock as he showed everyone his now swollen ankle. "ooh, that's a bad sprain." Blitzo said. "But it's not broken."

"It's not?"

"Nope, I've seen many broken foots, and if this was one, kid, it would look more bumpy than this."

"OK." Cody said. "But it still hurts."

"Here, I'll help you up." then Tex tried to gently pick him up and held him in his arms.

"Easy, easy." Cody grunted

"sorry. I'm sorry." said Tex. "I'm trying to be gentle."

"We'll get you home, Cody." said Loona. "Be careful, Tex."

"Don't worry, I can lift a bus or a train cart with this solid wall of muscle. Cody is like a twig or a leaf. Oh, not in a bad way, just saying." They all exited out of the manor with Cody still grunting in pain from his twisted ankle, and it was bad kind of pain, along with bumping one's elbow, knee, or stubbing a toe. Blitzo drove off as fast as he could, and Cody was place next to Loona, gently side-hugging him to keep him comfort and company
