After dinner, Cody felt proud of himself for winning the pig race. Looking at his first place trophy, he knew that it would be quite a tale to tell to his children (if he has kids someday). Too bad Tommy wasn't there to see him perform the race, but Loona probably got it on video during the whole conflict.
His big brother would be very proud of him. Another thing on the kids' mind was Chop the demon pig. He knows that he belongs in Millie's family ranch with his brethren, but it's like that pig had bonded with him like a parrot had bonded with his experienced owner.
Of course this kind of place wouldn't be a proper place for a pig, especially one that is as tall as a Great Dane. At least the demon pig was happy in the ranch with his own kind, and Cody thought that he would probably hit it off with Fat Nuggets, Angel Dust' pet, if they ever met in the flesh. Still, the boy had thirty grand left from the prize money and wondered what else he can do with it. This kind of thing would require a lot of thinking like what he would actually want in his entire life, like something that would be his lifelong dream. "I'll think of something i might buy." Cody said in his head. "I just probably need to take a moment and let it come to me."
The boy didn't notice Loona coming in as he was thinking deep on what he wanted next from this money. "Hey kiddo." then he jumped in fright. "Sorry, didn't mean to scare you."
"It's ok. I was just thinking on what i should do with my prize money next." then he looked at her. "What was it like on the motorcycle?"
"Cody, it was awesome." Loona smiled. "I've never felt so free in my life. Now I can get away from Blitzo more often than i want to without him hovering over me so much. It's like I am taking a vacation from that midget. But, wanna take a ride with me on it?"
The kids' eyes widened and said: "I never been on a motorcycle before. Sure."
"Might wanna put this on just in case." Loona gave him a helmet to protect his head and they both went out in the parking lot so Cody can enjoy some time on the motorcycle with his adopted sister.
"Now Loony, try not to go too fast that the bike will go out of control." Blitzo sounded like a worried parent to her. "Satan knows what would happen if you crack your skull open."
"Shup up, Blitzo. I am wearing a helmet since you worry to much... as always." the female hellhound rolled her eyes in annoyance. "Wish you would stop being a helicopter dad over me all the time."
"Sorry. You're my daughter and I love you." Blitzo said.
Loona paused and felt touched, but she shook her head, immediately brushing off what Blitzo said to her. "Don't make me break your neck." she said in irritation. "Come on, Cody. "Let's fire the motorcycle up."
"OK." Cody smiled. He hopped on behind her in the backseat, gently grabbed hold of Loona as she put on her helmet as she revved the machine as she twist the keys in the ignition. The sound of the revving blasted in Cody's ears, but it was something he would get used to later on as he gets on it long enough. As soon as Loona got on the road, Cody was having the time of his life, and he was feeling the great, fast velocity on the motorcycle.
It was almost like a rollercoaster ride, without the straps or handles to restrain him. The best part of this was: No speed limit!
Highway to Hell by AC/DC plays
Cody was looking and smiling at the beauty (or some kind of beauty) of the Pride Ring as he was behind Loona. Many demons as far as the eye can see of many kinds. Movie theaters, some schools, a few bowling alleys. Many cars and vehicles zoomed by the motorcycle on the other side of the road. Yes, riding on a motorcycle was a blast. "You ever been on this before, Cody?" Loona shouted to him.
