At school, Cody was awaiting another pickup by Loona after another successful day in the school. Looking around for her adopted sister, Cody was approached by a very familiar face he knew since he was a very little kid. "Cody?" said another boy." It was Tyler, who smiled and ran up to him. "Can I talk with you?" Cody was always happy to see his own best friend like he would normally be in or out of school.

"Sure Tyler." said the brown-haired boy.

"We have been best friends for a while, right?

"Ever since kindergarten, yeah." Said Cody with a smile. "Why is there something you wanna tell me?"

Tyler looked a little awkward at his best friend and was silent for a few seconds. "I wanna talk to you. And can we talk someone more private?"

"Sure. Is there something wrong?" Asked Cody, scratching the side of his head.

"Nothing." Tyler blurted. "I just want to talk to you."

"Sure. Where?"

"Right... over there." His best friend pointed at one part of the forest in the distance.

"Ok. But my sister is going to pick me up soon."

"it'll be quick."

"Cool." Cody followed Tyler to where he was pointing his finger before and they were alone in the forest. "So what's up?"

Taking a brief pause, Tyler asked: "so I heard that you live in Hell now."

Those words made Cody's eyes bulge wide open like clams opening up and showing the pearls created in their mouths. Not saying anything for a few seconds, Cody feigned ignorance, and said: "Tyler, you can't say that word, you're too young."

"Cody, do you live in Hell?" Asked Tyler again

"No! Why would I live in there?"

"Well, I heard... someone that a demon saved you from the fire."

"Pfft. That's stupid." Cody scoffed. "Though it would be cool if I was."

"Ha! Feigning ignorance and innocence as always, Cody?" Asked a familiar grownup. Mr Belmont came up from behind a nearby tree and was standing right next to Tyler.

"Mr Belmont?" Said Cody

"Of course. The one and only." The preacher said. "Tyler, my boy, he is obviously lying."

"I am not lying!" Cody defended himself. "You're crazy."

"Crazy, am I? Crazy or correct?"

"Tyler, what is going on here? Why are you with this crazy man?"

"Because... he's my dad." Tyler sighed in shame.

Cody looked absolutely bewildered. "Your dad? But I thought your last name was MacArthur?"

"Yeah but... my mom changed my last name before she and dad got divorced." Tyler pointed. "He is my dad."

"Right. And there is no way in heaven that my own son will associate with the Antichrist."

"Tyler," said Cody. "I'm not the Antichrist. You're dad doesn't know anything about me."

"But I do, child. Soon, the world will know about you and your evil, demonic powers that will doom us all."

"Dad," said Tyler, "this can't be right."

"You need to open your eyes and your mind, Tyler. Remember who you are looking at in front of you right now." Belmont urged his kid

"From what I see," Said a female voice. It was Loona from behind Cody. "I see a cool kid who lost his parents and is living with a perfect human family."

"Do not listen to her, Tyler. She is a Hellhound and will mail you into pieces."

"She doesn't look like a hellhound." Tyler pointed

"Yes. Because she is wearing a human disguise, young one." Belmont sounded annoyed. Turning back to Loona, he said: "You demons are alike. You all stick together."

"You are one delusional fucktard right now." Loona crossed her arms in disapproval. "Being a Bible thumper to his own son. It sickens me to my fucking stomach, it makes me want to vomit my own stomach out of my body"

"Well, if it isn't the mangy Hellhound that has groomed the Antichrist." Belmont sneered at the disguised hellhound.

"Groom? Dude, you are seriously out of your goddamn mind... no pun intended."

"There is no use denying the truth, miss." Belmont brushed off. "There is no escaping the truth from God."

"And who is this God of yours?" Loona retorted. "A fucking asshole who is like a strict parents?"

Mr. Belmont covered his son's ears. "Language! For Jesus' sake. Not in front of my son. What is it with you demons and your cursing?"

"Don't push it, old man." Loona said. "I talk however I want to talk."

"Then maybe that is why you are born in Hell. All of you demons are all the same. Vicious, mindless, evil, corrupt, and twisted."

"Tyler," Cody said, "don't listen to him. And Loona is not a demon, she is my adopted sister."

"Yeah, your dad doesn't know shit." Loona added. Belmont had to cover Tyler's ears again to prevent him from hearing any more profanity. "I am not a demon."

"There is no use continuing with your ruse, mutt." Belmont pointed. "The damage is already done for you to continue this charade."

"ok, I think we have heard enough from you, preacher." Said Loona, finally having enough of the preacher's bullshit. She turned into her Hellhound form, knowing that Belmont was not falling for her act anymore. Tyler looked spooked and surprised to see her like this. To see her in her true hellhound form. "Come on, Cody. We're out of here."

she grabbed him by the hand and pulled him away. The boy looked at Tyler and could hardly believe what was happening right now. His own best friend being the son of his new worst enemy. It almost felt like a worst kind of fever dream.

When they were out of the view of Belmont and Tyler, Loona opened the portal back to the apartment. "I can't believe it." Said Cody. "I don't wanna believe that Tyler is Belmont's son!"

"I know, Cody." Said Loona. "Never thought it would happen this way.
