Crosses Work on All Demons

While Cody was being fondled by Verosika and her band of incubi and or succubi, Loona was getting more and more angry at how the poor boy was being adored as if he was a puppy or kitten. She barred her sharp teeth, and she stomped a few feet, wanting to rip her throat out, or make her suffer a fate worse than hell.

Before, she could reach her, Tex and Moxxie stopped her from doing anything rash by holding her back in her arms. "Easy Loona." Moxxie said, "Keep it together!"

"Yeah girl, take it easy." Tex added.

"Let go of that kid, you pink bimbo." Loona snarled at the succubus. "Or I'm going to give you rabies in the most painful way."

Verosika, while cradling Colin, looked over her right shoulder, scowling at the choleric Hellhound. "Oh come down, crazy bitch." she said, "I'm not going to hurt an adorable face like Cody."

"Yeah, you really need to chillax." said Josh.

"So Cody," said Apple, "Verosika told me that you were rescued by Loona?"

"Well... yes. But, can you please put me down? I'm not a baby."

"Oh, yes you are." said Verosika in a playful voice, hugging him like a teddy bear, or any other stuffed animal. "I can probably call you precious."

"Baby precious." Coco said

"Ooh, good one." said Kiki. "Come on, we're just having a little fun with you, sweetie. I mean, what is not to like about a precious face like you have?"

"I absolutely agree with you, Kiki." Verosika. "And in all fairness, I wish I can adopt you, sweetie. Someone to cuddle with, be my friend and someone you can look up to. A perfect role model. Unlike a certain slutty hellhound over here." These words made Loona even angrier than ever. Moreover, Blitzo was becoming angry himself seeing his own "daughter" being insulted like this.

Suddenly, Cody remembered something after hearing the word "friend" from Verosika's mouth, and he can probably use it to keep her away from him, if it can work on any demon that tries to come in contact with him "Wait a minute." said Cody. The succubi and incubi looked at him curiously

"What is it?" asked Kat

"I just... want to show you guys something." Cody replied. "Can you please put me down so I can show you?"

"Oh of course, baby precious." said Verosika before doing just that. She bent her knees down and had her head in front of. "So tell me, what would you like to show us, Cody?"

A sly smile appeared on the boy's face, and he said: "Look at what I got!" he reached his back pocket, and pulled out his lucky cross, making the demons gasp and shriek at the sight of the Crucifix. Turns out, even a succubus and incubus alike can be terrified of the cross or any sign of Jesus himself as any other demon can fear.

"No!" said Ace. "Not that!"

"Too pure! Too pure!" Milky said.

Loona, Blitzo, Moxxie, and Millie also cowered at the sight of the cross, even a tough guy like Tex was afraid and cowering. "I hate to look at the sight of that... godawful cross!" Loona said

"Don't let that touch us!" Verosika freaked out.

"Please leave me alone, or I will touch you with it." Cody said, showing his cross at the seductive demons. "Please go away."

"OK! We'll go!" Verosika nodded her head. "Come on guys, let's get away from here!" All of them had no hesitation of getting away from that holy symbol that the boy had in his hand. Cody smiled and put his cross away.

"That's better." said the boy with great satisfaction. He looked at his friends, still cowering a little, but they saw the cross was nowhere to be seen anymore, making them relieved.

"I'm really sorry I brought them in here." said Vortex. "I know you didn't want to see them but-"

"Sorry? The poor boy is probably scared for life being surrounded by those cunts you dumb-"

"BLITZO!" Loona shouted. "Don't blame it on Tex! He is only doing his fucking job! You cannot blame him for that."

"Well then why didn't you stop her from fondling Cody?" asked Moxxie

"Like Loona said, Mox." said the male Hellhound. "I'm only doing my job, and I need the money. A hellhound's gotta do what a hellhound's gotta do. Besides, what other jobs are there for me to take if not being a bodyguard for one of the most famous pop-stars in Hell?"

Cody stepped up in between Blitz and Tex by saying: "It's not his fault. It looked like he didn't want to bring her to me. He's a nice guy."

Vortex smiled gratefully and looked down on him, putting his left knee on the floor, kneeling. "Thanks Cody. I do promise I will not let them hurt you."

"TEX WHERE ARE YOU?!" Verosika screamed in the hallway. "I need you, dumbass!"

The male hellhound groaned and said: "I'm coming, boss!" he walked to the door, and said: "Sorry again, guys." Loona smiled, always happy to see her crush like this. At least there is always another time for her and Tex to see each other. Blizto still wasn't convinced that these two hellhounds bounding, along with Cody bounding with Tex was a very good idea.

"Are you ok, Cody?" asked Loona. "She didn't hurt you, did she?"

"No. I'm OK." Cody said. "They just cuddled me and hugged me. Although... they did smell nice. All they did was give me a few kisses."

"Yeah, the smell. Don't let that fool you, Cody." said Millie.

"It's a ruse." Moxxie added. "Always be careful with Verosika."

Back on Earth

Tommy and Celeste arrived at the town Cody lived in to look for him. So far, they haven't found any trace of him whatsoever. They could not give up though, they know that Cody was alive and needed to be found. "I should have took him with me to France." said Tommy, tearing up with guilt. "I should have been here to save my parents from the fire."

He then felt himself being hugged by his girlfriend. "Shhh, it wasn't your fault." Celeste said. "There was nothing you could have done. I'm sure we'll find him."

The young man was keeping himself together and took a little breath. "OK." he said. "Desole. I'm better. I just want to see Cody again. He's probably traumatized and scared shitless after all the fire had done."

"We will find him!" said Celeste. "I'm sure of it, Tommy. Right now, we just need to have a talk in the hotel room, and maybe talk with your neighbors."

"Yeah. Good idea." said Tommy, taking another breath. "Good idea."
