Loona was having a rather nice time spending some girl time with Octavia right now. They were just done buying themselves some black dresses and other Gothic accessories to wear on themselves. Typical for women to do, even though they can be tomboys
Now they decided to get themselves some tea to refresh themselves. "We have to wear these dresses, Via." said Loona
"I absolutely concur with you, Loony. If there are any more parties, we have to wear them to a soirée. I mean, if my dad will even let me have male person to hang out with." she rolled her eyes.
"Firstly, never call me Loony." the female hellhound sounded enraged to hear that name by anyone except Blitzo. "Secondly, I'm sure guys will want us in these dresses. As long as they don't try to rape us."
"Oh yeah, no." Octavia said. "I've dealt with rapists who drool over me. Even though I just turn them into stone before they even have a chance to have their way with me."
"Heh. Same here. Many guys on Earth drool all over me, but I would just slit the creeps' throat out with my claws."
"Here here. Or i would gouge their eyes out with my beak in a slow, painful manner."
"And I would do it with my claws as well." she slightly looked away and saw some shady demons with trenchcoats and have some daggers in an alley way, keeping themselves warm with a can-fire. They appeared to be hoboes by how they smelt and how tathered their clothes wear..
Both Loona and Octavia just walked away in a faster pace so they wouldn't have to deal with those supposed creeps.
"So you have daddy issues sometimes too?" Loona couldn't help but ask the Goetia princess.
"Ugh! yes, sometimes he can he extraordinarily embarrassing. It's just too much for me to bear sometimes. It makes me want to rip my own heart out and die."
"Heh, yeah. Blizto is just plain weird and he just needs to get off my pussy for one, whole, fucking minute. I'll be lucky if his clumsiness gets himself killed one day.
Octavia laughed a little. "Parents, am I right?"
"Fuck yeah, tell me about it." Loona rolled her eyes in agreement. She was thinking about Cody again and looked a little worried once more. "Do you think Blitzo is keeping a good eye on Cody right now? He might get drunk again."
"Oh come on." Octavia scoffed. "He's with Tex and Moxxie too. You said Tex is a really nice guy, and Moxxie, despite being a pussy he is, can be responsible."
"True, even though Moxxie doesn't have a fucking backbone on him." Loona smirked. "I'm sorry, i shouldn't worry about him too much."
"Like I said, Loona, it is perfectly ok if you miss him." Octavia remarked.
"I don't miss him!" Loona suddenly got in the Goetia Princess' face, looking offended and defensive of herself, making Octavia rather shocked by this sudden reaction
"Sorry." Octavia raised her hands defensively with a nervous smile.
Loona took a small breath and said: "No, I'm sorry. I didn't mean to sound rude there." she looked around to and fro to see if any other demon looked at her, and only a handful of demons just watched her sudden reaction like that.
They then ran away as soon as Loona gave them dirty looks while snarling. "What the fuck are you pussies looking at?" she said. She took another deep breath to calm herself down. "OK," she said calmly to Octavia, "I do miss him, but... it's complicated. I just need to be tough and intimidating or I won't get respect."
"I see. But perhaps some herbal tea can help you lift your spirit."
"Yeah it will." They went to the coffee shop and many demons recognized Octavia, making so many male demons of any kind want to... "have their way" with her. They had sneaky looks on their faces and one tried to run up to Octavia to assault her, but Loona caught the chubby imp by the neck, and tilted her hand to the right, breaking the creeps' neck as if it was a twig or a branch. "Any one else wanna try and force themselves on us?"
The creepy demons looked obviously scared at how Loona just single-handedly murdered that foolish demon with just one hand. If there was one thing they didn't want, it would be to share the same fate as that foolish imp.
"That's what I though." Loona cracked her knuckles to show them that she meant busines. "Now stay the fuck away from us."
Just like that, the other demons minded their business and pretended they never saw those ladies at all. "Thanks Loona." said Octavia with a smile
"Don't mention it."
"You ever thought about being my bodyguard?"
"Nah, my place is Immediate Murder Professionals... believe it or not."
"I understand."
The two girls got themselves their tea and sat in a booth together as they nonchalantly drank their purchased beverages. "So how is your dad anyway?"
"Being kinky over Blitzo as usual. And... please don't hate me for this, but... Blitzo is kind of a freak."
Loona chuckled and replied: "Nope. He is a freak all right."
"And... admittedly, I honestly think Moxxie should be the leader of I.M.P. He does have a little more maturity."
"True, but he doesn't really have the spine for a lot of things. Trust me, I have known him longer than you... unfortunately."
Octavia chuckled. "Right, so how is yours?"
"Usual killing on targets that his clients would pay him to do." said Loona flatly. He's still recovering from being hungover last night at the party."
"Good thing you were there."
"Yeah, I know." Loona was thinking again and said: "Look, I'm just gonna call Cody and see how he's doing."
"That's fine, and don't worry about me. I'll be ok."
Loona hurriedly went out and hid in an alleyway in front of a dumpster. She pulled out her phone and called Cody to check on him. "Hello?" he said on the other line
"Hey Cody, it's me, Loona."
"Oh! Hi Loona!" Cody replied happily.
"I was just wondering how you were doing right now."
"I'm having fun with the guys. I'm about to play Guitar Warrior at the arcade."
"Ooh, and no one hurt you, did they?"
"No. I'm just fine."
"Ah. Ok. I was just checking in." Loona said. "I'll see you soon, Cody. have fun."
"I will Loona, bye."
"Bye."
Loona hung up and felt relieved to hear that her human friend was doing ok right now.
At the arcade, Cody hung up his phone and looked at the guys. "What was Loona calling you for?" asked Moxxie.
"She said she was making sure I was ok."
"Ah..." Moxxie smirked. "I see what's going on here. Loona misses you already."
"Awwww, you see Mox? I told you she is sensitive." Blitzo said. "I think she can call herself a proud mama like this.
"Yep, she's like a new mother or a sister to you now, Cody."
This made the kid smile and he knew that Moxxie was right. If Loona didn't care about him, then she wouldn't save him from the fire that very day his parents died.
"I know." the kid said. "I'm... lucky to have someone like her in my life."
"Very lucky than a thousand leprechauns and rainbows combined." Blitzo said
"Yeah, that girl is one of a kind." Tex said. "Is there anything that girl can't do?"
"Let's not get any funny ideas about her, Tex." Blitzo narrowed his eyes at the male hellhound.
