Loona, even if she didn't show it or express it, thought of how sweet and heartwarming it was for Cody to be with his elder brother for god knows how long they have been apart from one another. Celeste joined in on the hug between the brothers since she knew Cody as well, and met him on more than one occasion when her sweet boyfriend came to visit his family from France. The hellhound felt like crying from seeing how nice this touching reunion was, but she abides to herself NOT to show her feelings in the slightest (Unless if it was Vortex in particular).
"I missed you so much, big brother." Cody said
With a few tears streaming down his face, Tommy opened his eyes while still hugging his little brother, he said: "God, I really missed you too, Cody. When I heard about the fire... I assumed the worse at first. But... I'm so glad you're OK."
"You heard?"
"Yeah." Tommy sighed. "One of the neighbors told me the whole story. But... I can't believe it either."
"I'm sorry Tommy." Cody snivelled.
"Sorry?"
"I had a dream where you blamed me for what happened to mom and dad."
"What?" Tommy broke the hug up and he looked shocked to hear that. "Blame you? Wha- that is completely ridicule! What reason could I have for doing that?"
"I didn't mean to dream of it, It just came to me." Cody rubbed the back of his head again, and he felt like sobbing again. "But it wasn't my fault. I didn't cause the fire and- and- I didn't mean for it to happen."
"No, of course not." Tommy hugged him again. "Cody, I would never blame you for anything. You're my little brother and I will always love you, champ. Always. The fire was not your fault. These things happen."
"Oui, you cannot really blame yourself, sweetie." said Celeste. "Besides, you are the sweetest little boy in ze world. Can I have a hug, Cody?"
"Yeah Celeste." Cody wiped more tears as he was being hugged by the beautiful French girl. "I'm just so glad to see you guys again."
"Cody, I couldn't agree with you more." the young man looked at Loona, and he said: "Oh. Bonjour. Are you... the one who helped Cody?"
"Uh-huh." Loona replied. "I took care of him after what happened to your folks, and... I'm really sorry."
Tommy smiled gratefully, and he said: "Well, thank you very much, miss..."
"Loona. Call me Loona." she said.
"She's my friend." Cody said. "She saved me from the fire."
"Really?" said Tommy in surprise. "Oh my god. That must have a lot of guts to save him."
Loona smiled and she replied: "Yeah. I mean... I couldn't leave him there to die. He needed me." she knelt down on one knee and hugged him to the side. "This isn't easy for me to say but... I would call Cody one of my closest friends ever."
"I like your hair." Celeste said.
"Meh, whatever." the hellhound replied.
"But where did you go?" asked Tommy. "Some people only saw you once at Burger King and they didn't really find you, or the police."
Cody and Loona looked at one another with nervous glances, and the boy didn't want Loona to be considered an outcast if she revealed her true Hellhound form. The outcome of that would probably be a bad one. "I was with Loona." Cody said. "Right Loona?"
"Right, and..." something caught Loona off-guard, and her eyes were watering before she sneezed, accidentally revealing her real self.
"What the fuck?" Tommy said. He and Celeste both screamed in horror at seeing Loona's true form, and the young man pulled out a Manuhrin revolver that he received from the Legion. "Cody, stand back! I'll save you!"
