Verosika Sees Cody as a Hellhound

The arcade was really fun and it was nice of Loona to beat up that charlatan employee at the place trying to rip off Cody for more tickets to get that ring. Loona mauled him pretty good enough to give up scamming the group, and unsurprisingly, he got a vacation for his injuries (even though he clearly doesn't deserve a vacation.)

Pizza here was surprisingly good, although, like the ice cream parlor and Blood Burger had ghastly toppings as options like bugs, guts, and dead animals and roadkill, Cody got the normal pepperoni topping on his pizza. Although, he asked for some extra meat on it like bacon, ham, and grilled chicken on his size (given his hellhound form gave him an unusual craving for meat).

While eating, the kid was thinking if he can turn back to normal as a human form, or if this would be permanent on him. He had been a hellhound for at least three hours now, and it didn't really feel so bad on him. It was almost like... like it was starting to grow on him. "Thanks for taking care of that guy, Loona." said Cody to her, "I should have seen that coming."

"No, its ok." Loona said. "And you're welcome. No one rips off my friends and gets away with it. Someone messes with you, then they mess with me."

"You beat him up real good, girl." Vortex noted. "Especially after you gave him that awesome wedgie."

The female hellhound blushed at the praise Vortex was giving her, and she was glad to he given that recognition from her little crush. Sure, she couldn't really have him, but it was nice that he was giving her recognition like this.

"Thanks, Tex." Loona flushed a little.

"So what do you guys want to do after this?"

"We can play a game of laser tag." Crystal suggested.

"Ooh, that sounds fun." Serena said.

"Well then, Laser tag it is." Vortex said before eating a whole pizza with eight slices down his throat, leaving his lips a little messy from the tomato sauce. "That is good stuff." he let out a burp after patting his full belly.

Another five minutes of eating has passed and the group of five friends went to the lasertag arena to start their match. Cody was on Loona's team (obviously), and Crystal and Serena were paired with Vortex against the two. the point patches on the chests of Loona and Cody were green while the other team was red.

As soon as the match began, Cody was hiding in plain sight behind a red pillar Suddenly, he felt something in himself, like his senses were tingling, and he dodged a "blast" from Vortex and dashed out of the way in great speed with a jump, landing on another platform.

For Loona, she got hit a few times, but she was almost treating it like a kill contract like IMP would have (but she knows not to kill her own friends). She was firing and firing from the trigger of her blaster, then she got hit three more times.

She put the gun in her mouth and decided to run on all fours to make her faster than before. The more legs, the faster she was. Cody realized that being a hellhound now, and he realized that he can probably walk on four legs too. Besides, Hellhounds in most folklore always stand on four legs instead of two like werewolves would have done. He tried going on four legs, and he managed to pull it off without ease like a wolf or a painted dog. He used the advantage to dodge many "laser" hits on the chest to the point where he jumped over the invisible lasers. It was tunnel vision to him, and it reminded him of the matrix with how he is dodging the imaginary lasers.

Loona also did many flips and dodges in the Matrix style. If the actors and actresses of the movies were there to witness what was happening, they would be very proud of them for their skills. Of course, they probably also wouldn't take it well since they would be meeting demons. Cody dodged another laser to the left, and another laser to the right by doing side-flips. Before Vortex could react, he felt the laser pad on his chest getting zapped many, many times as Cody was dodging and dodging some more.
