The next morning, Loona awoke from her sleep and saw Cody was so peaceful next to her, and she smiled, gently rufling his brown hair affectionately. and gently rubbed him. "Cody?" she said in a sing-song voice. "Cody, time to wake up."

The kid yawned and he woke up with his eyes blurry. "Good morning, Loona."

"Morning, kiddo." said the Hellhound. "Did you sleep ok?"

"I did." Cody got out. "I had a dream about being in a world full of ice cream."

"that sounds nice." said Loona. "That's pretty much many kids' dream." Loona herself got out of bed and wagging her head as her long white hair waved like the wind was pushing against it.

"At least i managed to get the report done."

"Yep. One less thing to worry about for school. Well," she yawned, showing her sharp teeth, "It's Saturday. So what do you want to do?"

"I just woke up. But, i already got the report and essay down. Maybe i should return that book to grandpa."

"Good idea. Maybe back on Earth, i can have a talk with him."

"You're not mat him, are you?"

"Nope!" Deep down, it was a lie. Loona was certainly mad at Ed for letting Cody read a book that looked like it was meant for children, but wasn't (not mad enough to rip the old man limb from limb, though).

The kid went to the table to get himself a morning soda to help wake him up more. Nothing like a soft drink to help a kid wake up in the morning.

"Blitzo, do you think we can go back to Earth after this? And we should bring Moxxie and Millie with us."

"What for?" asked Blitzo

"Return that book to Cody's grandparents" Loona clarified. "and have a little chat with them about it."

"Sure."

It was nice for him to he back at his grandparents' farm again and he couldn't help but interact with some of the livestock.

Loona and the other demons (in their disguises of course) were inside the farmhouse and talking to Ed and Beatrice. "So here's this book back." Moxxie said.

"Aren't you intriguing young fellas." said Ed. referring to the three imps "Any reason why you're so short?"

"Uhhhh..." all three were stammering and tthif a good excuse. "Dwarfism!" said Moxxie.

"Yeah! we're fucking dwarves!" said Blitzo. "Yeah, it's a growth spurt we were all born with. Fucking dwarfism."

"I see." said Beatrice

"So Ed." Loona sounded calm at first, but her demeanor changed when she shouted: "What the hell were you thinking giving him a book like that? it wasn't for kids!"

"It is for kids." Ed and his wife looked confused

"Since when is a bunch of kids getting attacked or hurt by a rabid fox kid-friendly? or gassing a litter of fox kits to death?" Loona said. "He's probably traumatized from that book."

The grandparents started to look guilty about this whole thing. They never meant to do this kind of harm to their grandson. Back in the old days to them, it was classified as a kids' novel. Everyone wasn't as sensitive back then, but now? now; times are quite different. "In my day, it was considered a children's novel."

"Well, guess what, old man." said Loona nose to nose with him, making the man scared. "Those days are over, and times have changed."

"True." said Beatrice.

"Please don't hurt me! I'm just an old man!"

"Calm down, Loona." said Millie. "They clearly don't know any better."

"Besides, I used to be a big-game hunter." Ed added. "Look, I'll just apologize to Cody. And I'll make it up to him."

"I hope so." Loona narrowed her eyes at him with her mouth thin. "He's been through so much and he is in a world of hurt."

"Loona. Please." said Blitzo. "They are his grandparents. Besides, Cody loves them as much as they love him."

Loona sighed and said: "Sorry. Lost my cool for a second." she bowed her head down. "I just want Cody to be happy."

"Well we're glad to have someone that cares so much about our grandson." said Beatrice. "It's a shame we lost his parents."

"But we will never let Cody get hurt." Ed added.

"Good." said the disguised Hellhound. "Let's just get Cody in here."

As Cody was interacting with some curious hogs, he heard Loona's voice call him. He rushed to where Loona was. "What is it Loona?"

"Your grandpa wants to say something to you."

"What is it?"

Ed looked guilty still and looked down slightly. "Listen, kiddo. I'm sorry about all of this. I hope I didn't traumatize you."

"No, it's ok. It's... nowhere near as what happened to mom and dad."

"Right." said Ed. "I miss them too."

"Really, grandpa. it's ok." Cody assured him. "I'll be fine. Besides, I managed to get my book report done anyway."

"Good." Ed smiled. "I would hug you again, Cody. But, my back hurts a little more than usual today."

"I understand."

"Are you sure you're ok, sweetie?" asked Millie.

"Yep. I promise."

"Good. So, want to hit the arcade later?" asked Moxxie.

"Sure!"

It looked like everyone was all square, and the demons, along with the human boy went off the farm created the portal back to Hell since no one else was around. Although, there were some squirrels in the trees, but they were just dumb animals.

At least there was no one around to witness their method of transportation. In Hell, Cody was glad to be back.

A knock on the door was heard and Blitzo went to see who it was. It was Octavia, who was happy to see Cody again. "Ah, morning sweetie." said the Goetia princess. "I was wondering if you would like to go to the arcade with me.

"Funny you should say that, princess." said Moxxie. "Me and Millie were thinking the same."

"Perfect!" said Octavia. "And after that, we can go to Stylish Occult."

"The place where they sell the taxidermy?" asked Loona. A smile came on her face and wholeheartedly said. "Count me in."
