In the shower, Cody was feeling pretty proud of himself after that nice performance. He made more new friends before and it was as memorable as the time he helped Octavia with that little club performance. Although, little Cody knew that he made some enemies like those hellhounds that tried to eat him, but it was ok, and he knew that there will always be friends down here. "I guess I can always count on Loona and the guys to help me out." he said to himself, washing some dry sweat from his body.

Three minutes passed and he got out of the shower and dried himself off before putting on his pajamas. Brushing his hair, he wondered how Blitzo was doing right now, so he decided to have a look at the imp. Unsurprisingly; Blitzo looked like he had had crashed on the ground after falling off a tall building window.

"Gah, fuck you Verosika!" said Blitzo in his sleep. "You stupid, shit-smelling cunt. Get over here so I can... agghh." he continued snoring wile sleeping in an awkward fashion.

Cody just looked confused and nodded his head sideways as he turned away. "Yeesh." he said to himself. The next thing he did was yawn, and stretch his legs, walking back to the bathroom to brush his teeth before getting into bed. After he was finished, he sat on the bed. He forgot to ask Jesus about how he felt about kinda asking I.M.P to kill Sheryl Leach before she could revive Cody's most hated thing in the entire world. He laid on the bed and asked: "Jesus, are you disappointed in me?" to the ceiling

"Disappointed in what, child?" said his voice. Apparently, Christ heard his own question, and appeared in the room. He then walked up to him, and Cody looked a little nervous

"Well, I kinda asked I.M.P to... you know."

"Ohhh, that." Jesus remembered. "I love how you are thinking over your actions. But, honestly... against my better judgement... I think it was completely justified that those demons eliminated Sheryl like that... no mater how barbaric and crude it was."

The boy was surprised to hear that, and asked, "Wait, you're not mad at me or condemning me?"

"No, of course not." Jesus sat next to him on the right. "I would never condemn you. And, I would never condemn anyone. I love everyone as you know."

"Right, that's true. But I didn't kill her."

"Of course. I know you would never kill anyone. You're a very nice soul that is completely hard to not like by many, countless other souls here."

"Not everyone."

"Yes. Not everyone in this plain of existence will not like you for some reason." Jesus made a small frown and bowed his head slightly, his long brown hair dangling below his shoulders. "It can be a cruel and evil world. But never despair. There will always be a small glimmer of hope. All you have to do, Cody, is find it."

"I thought you would call me a sinner for asking I.M.P to kill Sheryl." Cody sighed.

"A saint can be a sinner too." Jesus sin. "Pretty much everyone commits a sin every once in a while."

"Right, that's true."

"Besides, Barney was too... saccharine, sugary, too flowery, and... creepy at the same time."

"Right?"

"Exactly. By the way, I got to see your performance a little while ago." Jesus smiled. "You were pretty amazing and extraordinary on the stage."

"Thank you, Jesus." Cody smiled.

"Any time, my child." Jesus got off the bed.

"Wait, how did you manage to see my performance?"

"I have my ways." Christ smiled. "Even I can blend in down here, and I can have a little fun every once in a while."

"I think you told me that." Cody remembered. "And I was asking because I didn't want Satan to throw tridents or pitchforks at you."

"Oh tbat is preposterous." Jesus chuckled. "He's too afraid of me to do something irrational. And besides, you don't have to worry about me. I am the Lion of Judah, the Lamb of God, his only son, all of those names. We both know that he is never a match for me."

"Why do I always keep forgetting that?"

"Come now, there's no need to bring yourself down for it."

"OK, ok." Cody laughed slightly.

"I suppose a boy like you needs his sleep for a new day."

"Wait, Jesus, before I go... i'm... a little worried about how Bruce got his lobotomy. I know he was really mean to me, but... I still feel guilty."

"I am proud of you for having a conscience, but I would ask his parents about it if I was in your footsteps."

"Yeah, you're right." Cody admitted. "Who am I kidding?"

"Try not to overthink it, Cody. It will only make you unhappy."

"I won't."

"Farewell, Cody. If you ever feel any more need to talk to me, let me know and I will answer your call." He then vanished into blinding light, gone.

It was just then Loona came in the room and tucked him in. "Time for bed, kid." she smiled.

The boy laid on the mattress and the hellhound gently landed the covers over his body. "Will Blitzo be ok?"

"Yeah I'll worry about him." Loona remarked. "Good night."

As soon as she turned out the lights, the boy fell asleep minutes after.

The Next morning

Cody awoken with a small yawn and slowly got out of bed, looking out the window. He did his usual morning routine and had some bacon for breakfast.
"Morning, kiddo!" said Blitzo, looking not drunk anymore. Then he felt his head hurt. "Gah! dammit. My head feels like an alien is slowly eating it."
"You ok, Blitzo?"
"Just... Gah, hungover from last night."
"See what happens when you drink so excessively?" Loona asked
"Oh, you should talk?"
"Touche." Loona rolled her eyes.
"Say Cody, can you do a little favor for me?"
"What is it, Blitzo?"
"Can you give this back to Wacky Wally? I borrowed it from him three days ago."
It was a electric nose hair trimmer, making Cody grossed out."
"Gah! Why are you making Cody do that?! Satan, Blitzo, you're disgusting."
"Don't worry, he only lives three blocks over from here. No biggie."
"Let me come with him." Loona urged.
"Sure, sure, that's fine. You being his new mommy is always adorable."
"Grrrr, for the last time!" Loona said. "I am not his mom and I never will be!"
"Never?" Cody looked confused.
"Oh no, no, don't take it that way." Loona reassured him. "I mean, I'm still in my twenties. I think of myself as... a sister to you. That's all."
Cody perfectly understood now and didn't get the wrong idea. "I was just confused there."
"No problem. Come on, I'll help you with this when you're done eating."
Finishing his breakfast five minutes later, the human boy, with Loona next to her, went downstairs to give Wally the trimmer back from Blitzo. "That is disgusting."
"Agreed. Blitzo is the most disgusting demon down here." Loona snarled
Some of the demons passerby noticed Cody and recognized him from either the video of him from last night or the video of him at the arcade performing Guitar Warrior. Many were friendly and said hello, while some were just mean and rude, but Cody realized he shouldn't really be surprised.
There was another apartment building called the Cock and Plunger, and they entered the building at the apartment Wally lived in. Loona was the one to knock on his door and Wally came to the door in his usual attire. "Ah, if it isn't the lovely lady of the hour." said he.
"Oh shut it." Loona nodded.
"And Cody, always nice to see ya. What brings you here?"
"Umm, Blitzo wanted me to give this back to you." he slowly handed him the nose hair trimmer.
"Ah, that's right. Thank you so much, Cody. Give Blitzo my warmest regards when you get back."
"I will, Wally."
"See you around, prick." Loona sang before he and the human boy walked away back outside. They were about to reach Blitzos' building, but a demon flew in and landed in front of the two.
"Morning Cody." it was Verosika again, sounding happy to see the kid. "Loona." she, however, didn't sound very happy to see the female hellhound and vice versa.
"Mayday." Loona bitterly replied in a brusque voice.
Cody himself wasn't very happy to see Verosika himself either. "What do you want?"
"Look, I wanted to know if you have forgiven me after what happened?"
"You mean about you kidnapping me?" Cody asked
"Yes." Verosika sighed. "Can you forgive me? I don't ask for absolution, just your forgiveness is all."
Cody thought about it, and looked uncertain. He took a deep breath and in a flat voice, he said: "No."
