"Kev, how can you be drunk already?" Mitchell asked, shaking his head at him. "Does this happen often?"

"Only with us around." Markus went and flung an arm over Kev's shoulders. "Come on. Let's go find Susan."

They left the kitchen, making their way on the dance floor, through the dancing bodies.

Mitchell could see the backyard with a large illuminated pool. The underwater Led lights gave the pool a spectacular lavender blue color.

The pool was already occupied, while others were sitting with their feet dipped in the water.

At the far end, he saw Susan talking animatedly with a group of students from classes. When they neared the group, Susan turned her head towards them.

"You're finally here."

Markus gently pushed Kev towards her. "Take him. We're going to sit over there for a while."

"Kev, let's go dance." She took his hand pulling him towards her.

"I'm not drunk." Kev said, with a smile.

"I know you're not drunk. Let's go dance."

Markus watched them with amusement. "You guys are so annoying."

Susan laughed at him, "You know you love us."

The backyard had a canopy tent with chairs and tables with low lighting to give privacy. Markus led him to the canopy so they could sit down and talk without any interruptions.

"I really like your friends. They seem like cool people."

"Kev and Susan are your friends now."

Mitchell place his drink on the table and sat down. "What now should we do now?"

Markus smiled at him, before dragging a chair closer to the table.

"Do you want to dance?"

"I'm not much of a dancer. I have two left feet."

Markus laughed. "We can take a swim."

"Isn't it too cold for swimming?"

"The pool has a heater. It'll be fine."

"I don't have a swim trunk."

"The owner usually has extras for guests. We can take a swim when we're alone."

Mitchell didn't reply, he just nodded his head as he turned to stare at the party goers. He saw Kev and Susan dancing and laughing with each other. Then felt a hand on his cheek.

"Use your words, Mitchell. "

"They look happy with each other. "

Markus looked over in the direction he was staring. He smiled when he saw Kev and Susan dancing with each other.

"They are happy. I want to have a relationship like them."

Mitchell could feel Markus's gaze on him. He looked down at his hands, then at Markus.

Those gorgeous eyes stared at him so intensely, he felt that spark again.

He didn't know what was happening with him. But ever since he met Markus, these feelings had intensified.

Mitchell wasn't sure how he should express himself, since he has never been in this position before or had felt any desire for anyone.

"Have you ever been in a relationship?" The question brought him from his reverie.

He shook his head. "No, I've never been in a relationship."

"Same here."

"Really?"

Markus took a hold of his hand. "I like you a lot Mitchell and I'm not going to pretend that I don't want to be with you."

Mitchell smiled at him. "I like you too, Markus."

"I'm not going to rush you. But I want you to be mine."

Markus pulled him to his feet, stepping closer so that their bodies were flush against each other with no space between them. He felt every angle and plane of his lean, muscular body.

Mitchell stared up at him, an exhilarating feeling coming over him as he watched Markus's face inched closer to his. He closed his eyes as he felt Markus's soft and warm lips against his.

Markus pressed his lips lightly, making him get used to the feeling, then enclosed him in his arms, as he deepened the kiss. The kiss radiated warmth through him, igniting a slow burn that started deep in his belly and began to spread. He ran his tongue along his bottom lip, demanding entry and Mitchell could do nothing but part his mouth and let him inside.

The kiss grew fiercer, more demanding, pouring kerosene on the flames licking at his belly.

When he felt Markus's tongue touch his and he moaned. He knew he should have been embarrassed but he didn't care. There was time to be embarrassed about this later.

Mitchell wrapped his arms around his neck and pulled him closer, urging him to fan the fire inside him.

When Markus suddenly set him away from his body, Mitchell's body buzzed with the loss of his body heat.

"What...?" Mitchell opened his eyes to stare at him.

"I need to slow down. I can't lose control. Not with you." Markus's raw voice sent shivers down his spine.

"Lose control. What are you talking about?"

"Nothing."

Mitchell stepped back on wobbly legs, sinking to the edge of the chair, embarrassment washed over him, burning his cheek.

"I'm sorry."

Markus moved away, taking deep breaths to calm himself. He moved his head from side to side, his eyes were still closed.

"Don't be sorry."

Mitchell watched him for a few minutes when he noticed that Markus had his eyes closed tightly.

"Markus, are you okay?"

"I'm good. It's just a headache."

"Do you want me to get you anything?" Mitchell asked anxiously.

Markus put his hands over his eyes, rubbing them gently. "Can you get me a bottled water?"

"Sure. I'll be right back."
