Mitchell sat down on the bed, watching Markus stored his clothes inside his closet. Kev and Susan had their own room across the hall.

"You know, I could have done that myself."

Markus looked across at him, shrugging his shoulders. "I know, but I wanted to do this for you."

"I'm not used to this kind of treatment."

Markus closed the closet door before pulling him to his feet. "Well, consider this a new phase in your life."

Markus leaned down to give him a kiss on his mouth. A kiss that ended too soon for his liking.

Mitchell grabbed Markus's shirt and pulled him back down, kissing him again. His eyes close when Markus put a hand at his neck, drawing him closer. Markus slanted his mouth deepening the kiss. He put a hand under his shirt, feeling those muscles tense under his fingers.

Mitchell trailed his hand up towards Markus's chest, wanting to feel the muscles there but his hand was captured before he could venture any further.

He opened his eyes, looking up to see Markus watching him, his eyes burning into his own. The way he was staring at him made Mitchell feel strange inside.

"You're a really good kisser."

Marcus pulled his hand from beneath his shirt, stroking it before he took a step back.

"Go take a shower."

"Aren't you going to join me?"

"No." Markus shook his head, taking another step away from him.

A knock sounded at the door.

Mitchell looked at the door then at Markus. "I guess that's my cue to shower alone."

Markus groaned at him, making him laugh.

A second knock sounded as Mitchell nodded his head, disappearing into the bathroom.

Markus opened the door. "What is it, Kev?"

"Tim is downstairs."

Markus frowned at him. He didn't recall inviting Tim over to his house or giving him any sort of indication that he wanted him here.

"Why is he here?"

Kev just shrugged his shoulders.

Markus glanced back at the bathroom door with a sigh.

He jerked his head to the bedroom door so Mitchell wouldn't hear their conversation.

"He shouldn't be here. Mitchell isn't going to like this." Markus said closing the bedroom door.

"I told him to leave but he insisted on talking to you."

Markus let out a sigh, turning to go downstairs. This time Kev remained at his side. He strode towards the living-room to where Tim was waiting.

"Tim. What are you doing here?"

Tim stood up with a smile. "My parents wanted to invite you over for dinner."

"Why didn't you just call me?"

Tim approached him, his eyes roaming over his face.

Markus looked down at him, remaining eye contact.

"I wanted to see you."

Markus evaded his hand when he tried to touch his face. He took a step back away from him.

"What day is this dinner?"

"It's next week Friday."

"Tell your parents I'll be there. But next time don't just show up here."
