Markus drove through the gates and parked his vehicle in the driveway, but stayed there for a minute before exiting. He walked up to the front door and entered his home to noise.
"Akri, you're here!" Calia shouted. He barely had time to open his arms before she barreled into him. Being the youngest, she was more affectionate than the other two.
"What's going on here?"
"We're having fun. Rayne and Gwyneira were bored, so Mitchell played us some music."
"Where's Mitchell?"
"He's out back with Chris."
Two seconds later her sisters came walking out the kitchen.
"We were waiting for you." Rayne flopped down on the couch with a bowl of fruits in her hand. She placed the bowl on the table. "These are for you. I can hear your stomach rumbling."
"I missed lunch."
"Don't let Mitchell hear you say that."
Gwyneira placed the small she was holding on the table. "He's very dangerous when it comes to you."
Markus took a seat with Calia sitting next to him. He lifted the lid, revealing a bowl of soup and his stomach grumbled in hunger at the smell.
"I cooked it for you." Gwyneira said proudly.
"Thanks Gywn. It smells really good."
Markus dipped the spoon into the bowl and carefully sipped the soup. It was just what he needed. He ate in silence while six pairs of eyes stared at him.
"I'm not going anywhere. You can stop staring at me."
"We have no way of knowing that."
Calia nodded her head at Rayne's words, making him roll his eyes. "I'm here until it's time to pick my parents up from the airport."
"I saw a photo of your parents. Your mom is really beautiful."
"And your dad is very handsome as well." Gwyneira chipped in.
"No wonder you're so handsome."
"Extremely handsome." Calia said, not wanting to be left out.
"Guys, can I eat in peace?"
"We're not stopping you." Rayne shrugged her shoulders.
"Will you guys leave him alone?"
Raven walked into living-room fully- dressed and looking refreshed. She walked over to where he was and took a seat.
"Why are you so dressed up?"
"I want to make a good impression. I can't be looking drab."
"We have four more hours before they arrive."
"Yeah, well I was a bit too excited."
Markus smiled at her. "Do you like being in human form?"
"It has its perks."
A soft laugh escaped his throat. "Will you ever show me your other form?"
"One time I was in cat form, totally forgot I had no clothes with me. I went up this tree because we were playing hide and seek. Everything was going fine until I accidentally fell out the tree. So I'm on the ground, totally naked and this little boy runs up and pointed at me and says 'look ma it's a naked pussy.' I was so mortified I got up and started running to my house. I didn't reach far though. I landed in a clump of bushes that had prickles on them. Landed right on my ass."
He stared at her for a moment then started laughing. Rayne and the others soon joined in. By the time Markus finished eating, they were all laughing at Raven's tales of her past.
"You were very mischievous as a child."
"Hmm...you should have fun as a child. That's what childhood is all about. Once it's gone, you can't get it back."
The sliding door leading to the backyard opened and Mitchell walked in carrying a foil pan in his hands.
"You're back?"
Markus quickly stood up to take the pan from him. "Yeah, I'm sorry about not answering your calls."
Mitchell put both hands on his chest, fingers lightly tracing the material of his shirt. Sliding a hand inside the collar his shirt, he worked it around his neck, pulling his head down.
Mitchell fastened his mouth hard to his, kissing him. Markus opened his mouth, returning the kiss. Mitchell nipped at his lips, pulling on his bottom lip before letting go. Markus opened his eyes to stare down at him.
"Don't let it happen again." Mitchell took the pan from him and headed into the kitchen.
"Well, well...I guess it didn't bother him that he had spectators."
Markus picked up the tray from the table then looked at the triplets. "You guys should get ready." He walked toward the kitchen and pushed the door inward.
"We're almost done with the cooking."
The entire countertop was littered with covered foil pans. "You guys have been busy."
"Busy and tired."
"Did your parents leave?" He asked Susan pinching a slice of carrot from the bowl.
"They went home to get ready."
"I'm going upstairs to take a shower."
Markus glanced at Mitchell before trotting upstairs to the second floor, and walked into his room. He crossed to the bathroom and shut the door. He stripped off his clothes and stepped into the shower.
"Room for one more." Mitchell's voice came from the doorway of the bathroom. Markus poked his head out of the shower to find a naked Mitchell standing there.
Markus grinned at him, pushing aside the shower curtain to let him enter. Mitchell's gaze raked over his body, his eyes pausing at his shaft.
"Just to shower Mitchell. We don't have time to mess around."
"Why not? I love messing around with you. It brings me great pleasure." He smirked at him, licking his lips as he entered the shower stall.
"Behave yourself Mitchell. I mean it."
Markus turned to grab the sponge and body wash. He lathered the sponge then turned to face Mitchell.
He ran the sponge over his skin, down his body.
"Okay, I'll behave until later."
Markus twisted the faucets letting the water wash away the soapy suds from their body. He handed Mitchell a towel then wrapped himself.
"I have a gift for you." Markus told him when they were in the bedroom.
"What is it?"
"Check the shelf in the closet."
Markus watched him walk to the closet and pulled the door. He removed the bag from the shelf and opened it. He pulled out a polo shirt, khakis and a pair of white sneakers.
"This is the same clothing we saw in that store a couple of weeks ago."
"I thought I'd buy it for you as an anniversary gift."
