Wind was freedom.

Thats what he always felt sailing thousands of feet in the air on the bounty. There was memory in these kind of heights. It was upon the first (or was the it the second) version of the bounty where he first met (y/n).

He then learned other things. The winds was as sharp as a blade and yet can be gentle. That's what he learned from its master.

As he steered the ship he watched his children sit upon the bow of the ship, silent, and on the safe side of the railings, unlike their mother who would stand of the very edge, tempting fate as she always did.

He listened as Sora and Arin played a game with the little dragon, tossing a nunchuck between each other for the dragon to try and catch.

"Hey Lloyd I always wondered, who's stronger? You or (y/n)?" Arin asked curiously, growing up with the feats of the ninja it was always a point of discussion, who was the strongest.

"(y/n)." Lloyd answered promptly.

"Are you saying that because she's your wife or... is she actually stronger?" Sora asked skeptically.

"Not just because she's my wife but I genuinely believe she's far stronger than me," Lloyd replied.

"How? Weren't you the golden ninja? Isn't your power meant to be pure energy?" Arin wondered, "I always thought it'd be you."

"Noooo way," Lloyd said with a chuckle shaking his head. "At one point (y/n) could take us all down blindfolded and practically had a hand tied behind her back, if we were in a serious life or death fight, I doubt I could beat her."

"But aren't you the leader of the team? Shouldn't you be the strongest?" Arin said as he scratched his head.

"Being able to lead is a different strength in comparison to pure destructive power. You've seen it before, the invisible blade, those guards with those stones used a less potent version of the technique, more of an invisible bat, but that power in (y/n)'s hands, she could slice through anything, she can summons storms that can make a category 5 hurricane look like a gentle breeze."

"She sounds tough," Sora said

"Yeah, she was," Lloyd smiled sadly as he turned towards the twins. Sensing the shift in the mood Arin and Sora dropped the topic, it's seemed that (y/n) Windsor-Garmadon was still a sore spot for him.

As they passed through the clouds, the three peaks they searched for was bathed in a pink light, "we're almost there!" He looked over his shoulder to say something else but movement in the corner of his eye caught his attention. "Oh no," Lloyd muttered, they were being surrounded by ships belonging to dragon hunters.

"It's the claws of the imperium," Sora spoke up.

Shots filled the air as their attackers rained laser like bullets upon them. Lloyd began to take evasive action. "Hang on!" Lloyd called out as he turned the ship in many sharp directions to avoid being shot out of the sky but knowing the bounty's luck, it would soon crash and burn.

In the next second the shipped jolted as an engine was stuck, Lloyd lost control of the ship. "I can't steady it!" Lloyd yelled as the ship began to make a nosy dive towards rocky cliffs.
