I never met my great grand parents.
All anyone has to remember them are the paintings left behind on the monastery walls. It's sad how they've just faded into legends and myth.
My great-grandfather died long before I was born but it felt like I knew him as everybody would talk and applaud the green ninja. He got the peaceful death he deserved, surrounded by family and friends. His death is still honoured even to this day, a sort of defiance to time, a promise Ninjago made to never forget Lloyd and the Ninja that saved Ninjago. But can we really stand up to time, how long until his name is forgotten?
My great-grandmother was (y/n) Windsor-Garmadon and to this day she's known as the most powerful elemental master to grace the world. I don't think we'd ever see anyone as powerful as her in my life time. It takes someone ferocious to refuse death not once but twice. To this day there still hasn't been anyone to inherit (y/n)'s title as the master of the Windsor house. But I like to think that she's watching over her family, proud to see that her house is rebuilding itself and won't ever succumb to evil and tragedy ever again. I also think that the next Master of wind hasn't appeared because there is no need for one in this time of peace and whoever it is will have quite the legacy to follow up with, I would not want to be the one have to follow in (y/n)'s footsteps. She was named the unrelenting storm for a reason. (y/n) now rests as her work is done, I never met her but it wasn't hard to tell that she'd be following her husband to the grave but this time there was nothing to bury. I guess you can only be buried once, her second death she was pretty much incinerated so no one really knows why she one day just disappeared into a pile of sakura leaves, maybe it was finally time for her to rest. My grandparents like to say that when the wind swirls and carries the sakura leaves, it's just (y/n) going for a walk and when there's two... Lloyd's going for a walk with her.
I hope they finally found rest everyone was always in awe of their stories their heroics but I think I was the only one that felt truly sorry for them. They sacrificed just about everything all in the name of duty. My siblings and cousins have no interest in keeping this monastery clean but it's the right thing to do, it's my little thank you to my great grand mother and father for sacrificing everything so that today no one lives in the shadow of evil.
Still their love story has my heart fluttering, if I don't love someone and someone doesn't love me as much as Lloyd and (y/n) loved each other, then I don't want them.
They were such powerful people, the world through hell at them and they played tennis with it, just taking one day at a time, everyday it was a matter of life or death, today I struggle to get my assignments in on time.
It will definitely be awhile before this world see they're kind again and I hope this time, they have some sort of peace but knowing the spirits of (y/n) and Lloyd there will be some strife but they will love each other dearly.

In the very distant future
She had no right to be that beautiful. Lloyd was just talking with his friends, they were all nervous and excited to begin high school, he had know Nya, Kai, Jay, Cole and Zane since elementary school and was glad that they were all in the same classes.
Kai nudged Lloyd, "Nice choice, she is very cute, you should go and say hello."
"No way, Im the son of Lord Garmadon, as soon as I say a word to her that'll be the end of any chance I have with her," Lloyd argued.
"So you admit you do like her," Cole smirked at Lloyd.
"No, she's pretty that's all," Lloyd defended, his friends laughed at him.
"Ooo she's coming this way," Jay teased as he pushed Lloyd towards her, Lloyd stumbled forwards and crashed into her, they both fell over.
"I am so sorry, my friends are idiots," Lloyd explained as he begged her forgiveness.
They're eyes met, he peaked (y/n)'s interest, there was something about his green eyes that drew her in, maybe it was the colour, there was something behind his eyes.
Without knowing he held onto her hand as he helped her up, "it's okay," she said shyly, "I'm (y/n) Windsor," she smiled.
Lloyd's knees felt weak, he might vomit if she smiled at him like that again, "I'm Lloyd, would you like to uh, hang out later?" He asked, he was so nervous he wanted to die.
"Sure," she answered, "and by the way, you're not responsible for your father's actions," she smiled kindly at him.
Lloyd began to stammer and stutter. She chuckled at him, she brushed by him, "I'll see you later Lloyd."
As soon as she was gone Lloyd slumped onto the ground, "hook, line and sinker," Kai laughed.
"I'm in love," Lloyd admitted as he stared at the ceiling he couldn't believe he had just done that.
"Doby worry buddy there's always next time," Cole assured.
"And it looked like she may like you as well," Jay winked.
Nya rolled her eyes at them.
