After I've settled in my mother and Aisha stays in the front room while I watch the Tv in the living room.
Heaving a sigh I walk to the kitchen to get something to eat.

"Taj what you getting to eat?" Ocean, my sister's step son ask.
He's ten years old and he's a very bubbly kid.
Him mek mi feel more than welcomed like mi live here long time.
"Mi nuh sure," I answer him.
He accompanies me, "Are you hungry or you want a snack?"
"I just want to snack for now," I smile pulling the pantry.
I take out a classic lays and he takes out one too, flashing a cheesy smile at me.
A soft chuckle leaves my lips as we get back to the living room.
He resumes the marvel movie.
I open the bag taking out a lays and starts crunching it. Then I realize that Ocean is staring at me.
"What?" I ask him.
"How do you eat lays alone? When I'm in America we don't," he tells me.
"I thought you wanted some of the sauce," he shows me the tomato dip.
