And so it begins...

"Logan are you sure?" Rory asked Logan as there were laying in bed one night, talking about their wedding

"Yes"

"You don't want to involve them at all?"

"You aren't really involving your grandmother either" he responded

"Yeah, but I'm still gonna keep her in the loop"

"Ace, after hope they treated you, do you really want them involved?" Logan said putting his hands on her shoulders

"I guess not" she admitted "but I don't know, I just feel bad"

"They won't be completely cut off. If they ask questions about the wedding, I'll answer them, and they'll be invited." He told her

"They're your family so if that's what you want, then that's what we'll do" she kissed him on the cheek and started to walk away when he pulled her back. "What?" She asked

"One more familial matter to discuss" he said softly.

"Hmm?"

"Your dad" he said giving her a sympathetic look "I'm not gonna try and push you towards anything here. Whatever you wanna do about him we'll do" He told her "does he know that we got engaged?" He asked realizing that he didn't know when Rory had last spoken to her father

"Um...I don't think he knows. I didn't tell him"

"Do you want to?"

"Not really" she admitted "I honestly don't even really see him as my father anymore, aside from the biological component"

"Ok so you don't want to tell him?"

"I say we invite him and let him find out when he gets the invitation" she suggested

"Whatever you want Ace." He kissed her forehead "but there is actually one more thing to divide in regards to your dad"

"What?" Rory asked. She couldn't think of any other was Christopher was relevant

"Do you not want your dad to walk you down the aisle?" He asked her

"As far as I'm concerned, while Christopher is my father, Luke is my dad" she admitted "I think I'd like Luke to do it" she told him

"That's a great idea Ace"

"When do you wanna get married?" Logan asked Rory while they were drinking their coffee on Sunday morning.

"Oh wow, um...I don't know." She admitted "what do you think about a summer wedding?" She asked

"I love it" he said "but..."

"But what?"

"It's already February" he pointed out "And I don't really want to wait a year and a half to be married to you"

"What's wrong with this summer?" Rory asked

"Well for starters venues book out months or even years in advance" Logan pointed out

"Yeah but I thought we agreed on getting married in Stars Hollow, in which case it won't be a problem"

"Ok. So June in Stars Hollow?" Logan suggested

"Perfect." She smiled "how's June 8th?"

"Amazing"

"Well hello there bride" Lane said as Rory walked into a bridal shop joining her, Lorelai, Sookie, April, Honor and Paris.

"Oooohhh I can't believe it!" Sookie squealed "you're gonna be a Sadie" she said excitedly
