Jennie woke up in Lisa’s arms. Hearing what Max just said, she rubbed her eyes and wrote on Lisa’s sturdy chest with her finger,

Twenty minutes later, Lisa led Jennie and others to a business hotel that was specially used for business meetings. When he saw that Jennie was still in a daze, he instructed Felix,

“Felix, take her to the room and let her rest. And send me her room number later.”

Felix nodded and left with Jennie. Then, Lisa motioned to Max and the others to follow him for the business meeting about cooperation. Everyone followed behind him respectfully. This time, they were going to cooperate with the Max family, an old and famous family in Melacia.

This family had a deep background in Melacia and had powerful business strength. If they wanted to open up the market here, they would definitely work with a family like this.

The Max family sent Merlin, the eldest daughter, and Randall, the eldest son, to discuss the cooperation details with Lisa. It showed that the Max family also attached great importance to it. After about three hours of negotiation, the two sides had reached an initial agreement.

Hearing what Max said, everyone immediately clapped their hands happily. After all, things were not cheap in Melacia. If they really had to pay out of their own pockets, they might not be willing to eat much good food. Now that the company would reimburse, they immediately began to discuss what they were going to eat. “The company is so great! I can’t believe it’s going to pay for it all!”

“That’s right. But let’s order some. We can celebrate the success of the negotiation.”

Lisa returned to his presidential suite. Just as he was about to take a good rest, he found out that Jennie was sneaking out. He immediately frowned. Could Little Mute have any friends or relatives here? He asked curiously, “Where are you going?”

Hearing Lisa’s voice, Jennie was stunned at first. She quickly thought of an excuse, then she touched her stomach and said silently with her lips, “It’s late. I’m a little hungry. I heard that the barbecue here is good. I want to try some.”

It was just getting dark, which was a perfect time for some barbecue. Lisa was worried about her being alone, but he did not want others to stay with Jennie. After thinking for a moment, he held her hand and said calmly,

“Alright, I’ll go with you and try some too.”

Then, he took the elevator and went downstairs together with Jennie. As her hand was held by Lisa, Jennie’s heartbeat unconsciously sped up. Her mind was blank, but she felt very safe. Jennie’s face blushed as she followed Lisa out of the hotel.

It was a stretch of beach across from the hotel. As soon as Jennie came out and was blown by the cold sea breeze, she felt her mind get much clearer. Looking at the bustling stalls not far away, Jennie said quietly,

“Thank you.”

Lisa glanced at Jennie indifferently, then his gaze shifted to Jennie’s chest. He had never forgotten about the phone. He was only busy with the negotiation with the Max family, so he had not mentioned it. Now that he was done, he had to verify if his thought was true.
