Lisa looked at Jennie’s mother and was confused. Everything was normal with Jennie. Logically speaking, Jennie’s mother should not be like this. He looked at Kim Seon-ho suspiciously and asked,
“CEO Kim, what’s going on with your wife?”
Kim Seon-ho pushed Jennie’s mother away unhappily. This crazy woman dared to act up at a time like this. If she ruined anything for him, he would definitely teach her a lesson. But he explained to Lisa with a smile on his face,
“Boss Manoban, I’m sorry. I’ve embarrassed myself. My wife is not in her right mind. Please bear with us.”
When Jennie’s mother heard Kim Seon-ho’s words, a crafty glint flashed in her eyes. Taking advantage of his lack of attention, she sneakily attacked Kim Seon-ho and kicked him in the butt as she shouted,
“You’re the one who’s mentally ill. Let me tell you, I’m not sick. I’m a normal, healthy person.”
Kim Seon-ho did not expect Jennie’s mother to suddenly kick him to the ground. It’s too embarrassing to be kicked to the ground by this crazy woman in front of Lisa.
He was about to vent his anger on Jennie’s mother when she walked in front of him and stepped on his chest forcefully, extinguishing his anger. Jennie’s mother put her hands on her hips and pointed at Kim Seon-ho’s nose as she roared loudly,
“Let me tell you, I am a princess, and you are a knight. You damn knight, do you want to die? How dare you speak ill of me?”
Kim Seon-ho’s face turned pale with Jennie’s mother stepping on his chest with force. He was soon out of breath. He opened his mouth and stuck out his tongue, trying to take a deep breath. Jennie’s mother saw this and said anxiously,
“Oh no, oh no, the knight has turned into a dog! The dog is sticking out its tongue. Is it asking for water?”
As she said this, Jennie’s mother turned around and picked up some hot water from the table and poured it on Kim Seon-ho’s face. Kim Seon-ho did not have time to dodge and turned into a drenched dog. He covered his face and let out a blood-curdling scream.
Jennie could not help but laugh when she saw this. Her mother did a great job. Kim Seon-ho got exactly what he deserved for bullying her and Jennie. This was karma. She should pour more hot water and give this pig a good scalding.
Lisa’s face had always been cold, he was now expressionless. But Felix and the security guards could not hold it in anymore. They all turned away and secretly laughed. When Kim Seon-ho heard Jennie’s laughter, he roared angrily,
“Jennie, damn it! What the f*ck are you laughing at? Quickly come over and help me up.”
Jennie looked at Kim Seon-ho who was already furious. Although she did not really want to help him up, she was afraid that Kim Seon-ho might hurt her mother. So, she got up and said softly to Kim Seon-ho,
“Oh, I’ll help you up right away.”
But just as Jennie was walking towards Kim Seon-ho, Lisa grabbed her wrist and stopped her. He looked at Kim Seon-ho sharply and said,
“Don’t help him.”
Kim Seon-ho was very surprised when he heard Lisa’s words. His mind was racing as he wondered if he had ever offended the powerful Boss Manoban. But no matter how hard he racked his brain, there was no way he could have even met Boss Manoban, with his lowly status and all. How could he have offended him?
Jennie also looked at Lisa in confusion. What was going on? He had suddenly become so scary and wouldn’t even let her help him up. What if Kim Seon-ho went berserk and hurt her mom? She asked curiously,
“Why?”
Lisa turned even colder when he heard Jennie’s question. The temperature in the room kept dropping as if the air conditioner and electric fan were on at the same time. He replied coldly,
“You can’t help him. He scolded you just now.”
Jennie looked helpless and Kim Seon-ho was speechless. Jennie was his daughter. Wasn’t it normal for him to scold her sometimes? But he was afraid of Lisa so he explained,
“Boss Manoban, I’m her dad. Scolding her is for her own good. Besides, Jennie has been quite mischievous since young. Growing up, she was also careless with her studies and incompetent. I often scold her for her own good, and she’s okay with it.”
As he said this, Kim Seon-ho planned to get up on his own. He couldn’t just lie on the ground like this. Lisa got even angrier when he heard Kim Seon-ho’s words. He turned even colder with the room almost turning into an ice cellar as he ordered Felix,
“Felix, make sure he doesn’t get up!”
