When Ji-hyang came out and saw the handsome Lisa, her eyes filled with shock and joy. She instantly became a fangirl and stood rooted to the spot, staring straight at Lisa as if she wanted to swallow him whole.
Lisa felt Ji-hyang’s gaze and frowned. Why was this girl so rude? But this was Jennie’s home so it wasn’t his place to openly express any displeasure. He nudged Jennie and asked coldly,
“Why is there a retard in your house?”
“Retard?”
Jennie looked at Lisa in confusion, then followed his unhappy gaze and saw Ji-hyang standing rooted to the ground. She was instantly a little unhappy and put her arm around Lisa’s arm possessively as she replied coldly,
“There’s no retard, but there are quite a number of people who are delusional.”
Ji-hyang felt jealous at the sight of Jennie and Lisa’s linked arms. She clenched her fists to control her emotions and then put on her version of a perfect smile. Ji-hyang remarked gently,
“Good sister, you really know how to joke.”
As she said this, she looked at Lisa shyly. She did not expect Boss Manoban to come to their home. This was her chance to rise to the top. If she could get Boss Manoban, she could get anything after that. She continued flirtatiously,
“Boss Manoban, please come in and take a seat.”
Lisa frowned and ignored Ji-hyang. Instead, he looked at Jennie in confusion. He planned to follow Jennie’s lead as to whether they would go inside. He did not want her to be sad so he said softly,
“Jennie?”
When Jennie heard Lisa call her, she frowned and looked at Ji-hyang coldly. This two-faced hypocrite actually wanted to seduce the devil? What wishful thinking! She said coldly to Ji-hyang,
“Ji-hyang, we’re here to see my mom, not you three.”
Jennie’s words were obviously reiterating to Ji-hyang and all that they were not here to see them. They were here to see her mom, and these gifts were for her mom. This visit had nothing to do with Ji-hyang and all.
When Ji-hyang heard this, she did not dare to be angry. She quietly seduced Lisa with her eyes as she didn’t want to lose any chance to interact with him. She beamed and replied calmly,
“Jennie, don’t misunderstand. Before you came, we discussed with your father. Your mom is in good condition and of lucid mind. We were just about to bring her home. Why don’t you and Boss Manoban come in and sit for a while? Your dad will be able to bring her back rather quickly.”
When Kim Seon-ho heard what Ji-hyang said, he immediately understood what she meant. She wanted more contact with Boss Manoban. It seemed that this person was indeed the legendary Boss Manoban. He added quickly,
“That’s right, Boss Manoban. Please go in and have a seat first. I’ll pick her up right away.”
Kim Seon-ho respectfully invited Lisa in before he turned and got into a car to go and fetch Jennie’s mom from a psychiatric hospital. He could not let Boss Manoban find fault with him.
Lisa saw how these few behaved and looked thoughtfully at Jennie. He did not say a word and just stood there coldly. Since he was here, why shouldn’t he see what his girl meant and find out what exactly was going on here?
Ji-hyang saw Lisa’s expression and knew that Boss Manoban had no plans to entertain them at all. If she wanted something from Boss Manoban today, she had to go through Jennie, so she said to Jennie anxiously,
“Jennie, do you think we should wait inside?”
When Jennie heard this, she looked at Ji-hyang mockingly and then looked at Kim Seon-ho who was getting into the car. These scumbags really lived up to their name. They were all so good at acting. These two were truly father and daughter, always in sync. Jennie replied coldly,
“Okay, then let’s go in and wait for my mom there.”
When Ji-hyang heard this, she walked excitedly to Lisa’s side like a competent host. As long as she got him in the house, she believed that she would be able to handle this big shot. Ji-hyang said flirtatiously again,
“Boss Manoban, please come in.”
Lisa glanced coldly at Ji-hyang, his eyes filled with disgust. Why was this retard so annoying? If she was not Jennie’s family, he would have strangled her right away. He replied coldly,
“Stay away from me. Get lost.”
Other than his girl, he did not like other women to get close to him, especially not a retard like Ji-hyang. She was already annoying to look at, and she dared to get up close. She should be thanking the stars that he didn’t kill her!
