When Lisa heard Jennie’s words and saw the dazed look on her face, his anger instantly turned into adoration. He really didn’t know what to do with this girl. “You are a mean girl.”

Then, he looked at Jennie coldly and pushed her away, reverting instantly into an ice mountain. He had to show her what he meant or there might be more such behaviors in future...

This was the first time Jennie had seen such childish behavior from Devil Manoban. Wasn’t he a little too arrogant? Perhaps it was because she had just woken up and her mind was still confused, Jennie threw herself into Lisa’s arms and boldly hugged him as she teased,

“Boss, don’t be angry anymore.”

Lisa looked at Jennie. This girl might have been sent by God. He, who had never been interested in women, would feel such strong desire. He held back his desire and reluctantly pushed Jennie away as he said,

“Sit properly and talk properly.”

Lisa himself did not realize that his usually cold voice was no longer cold. It was even somewhat seductive. When Jennie heard this voice, she became unafraid of Lisa and even forgot that he was the devil.

“How can you hit me? That’s domestic violence. I’ll use the law to protect myself and have you punished.”

Lisa touched the spot where he was bitten and looked at Jennie impassively. This girl did not seem awake yet. Otherwise, why would she be so bold and bite him? He replied calmly,

“If you don’t want to be spanked, you’d better sit properly now.”

Jennie did not care. She was exceptionally bold now. Devil or not, she continued to hug Lisa’s neck and rubbed against his body as she said,

“I’m not going to do that! I’m not in a good mood right now, so I’ll be in charge today. I’m sticking to you. You’re like a fireplace, especially warm. I want to hug you to sleep tonight too.”

Felix sat in the driver’s seat awkwardly. He did not know if he should continue listening to the lovey-dovey or to get out of the car. He especially couldn’t believe it when he heard Jennie’s words. The chairman was a ten-thousand-year-old ice mountain, how could he be warm?

When Lisa heard Jennie’s words, a soft and happy expression flashed across his face. He did not know why, but he liked it when the girl depended on him. So, he caressed Jennie’s hair and replied lovingly,

“Okay then. Let’s get out of the car and hug me to sleep tonight.”

Lisa smiled when he thought about how Jennie had avoided him like plague every night. Contrasting that with what’s happening now, Lisa smiled. It was all an act.
