Jennie sneered when she heard this, her eyes filled with ridicule. So, Kim Seon-ho was probably Ji-hyang’s real dad! She blamed herself for being so stupid in her previous life, that she didn’t realize the two of them had such a close relationship. She replied mockingly,
“Oh? Is that so?”
Zhang Ningning smiled lightly when she heard Jennie’s words. She must protect her daughter’s face and must not let this piece of trash Jennie bully her. Especially not in front of this big shot. She spoke up for Ji-hyang immediately,
“Of course! The reason why Ji-hyang is like this is because she wants to help share your dad’s burden. She doesn’t want your dad to be too tired. Besides, Ji-hyang grew up with you and treated you as her sister. Please don’t misunderstand.”
Jennie wanted to laugh out when she heard this. How could this family be so shameless? They clearly wanted to take over the household and yet they acted all selfless. It was just ridiculous. She looked at the mother and daughter and said indifferently,
“Oh? So, when I wasn’t around, Ji-hyang took on a lot of hard work?”
When Zhang Ningning heard this, she saw this as a chance to clear Ji-hyang’s name. If she could make this big shot notice Ji-hyang, she’s halfway to success. She replied quickly with a smile,
“Exactly. Lately, in order to help your dad, Ji-hyang not only helped to entertain guests, she also managed the design department at the company. She wasn’t just busy at home, she had to work at the company and go to school. You have no idea how hard your sister worked.”
