Well hello my friends—sure has been a while since I've updated this, hasn't it? school and life have been kinda throwing me for a loop, but it has dawned on my that I have yet to introduce Tsukiyo to my art book despite the many times I've drawn her (we don't have to worry about my drafts XD), and I figured that this would take care of both of those things! And as is fitting, this kinda depicts an "introduction scene" for her, because what better way to make a first impression than staring into someone's soul-
And as is fitting for her, I took extra time in getting her eyes right—they took a few attempts, but I'm really proud of how they came out even if some of them are hidden by her hair so yay to that! I also really enjoyed doing her clothes—the neckline of her cloak was a happy little accident, I won't lie to you, but I'm happy I was able to create the flared out effect :)
Hands will forever be hard but that's a given for any artist I've ever met, so do me a solid and don't look too closely XD
Also I don't know if it's just me but I feel like drawing her with her kasugai crow kinda adds to the image almost? I'm not the most experienced in drawing animals but luckily the base I found on Pinterest helped me out quite a bit (this only works if we're honest XD)
Well enough of my rambling and rusty attempt at description, time for a taisho secret!
The pin on her cloak was gifted to her by her father post final selection, as a reminder of her values and mission. She has a subtle habit of touching/adjusting it when she feels a strong emotion, though it's typically only when she's on her own.
