Anyways, hello friends! As you may or may not have noticed, yet another new OC has joined my book, and that means it's time for our favorite tradition of posting a drawing of said OC that I had in my gallery for who knows how long, but kept secret to avoid spoiling the surprise. Now i can finally share this!
Poor nezuko, always at the mercy of my writer brain- (look Gotouge hurt her worse okay XD). My girl Kiyomi is a lot more, shall we say, persistent in her missions, and not so easily swayed by the whole "good demons" fact.
Anyways, this was once again me trying out lighting, which I still struggle with but I'll get there eventually. I also had a few trials with her cape since while it does go over her shoulders I was also accounting for gravity XD
with that said, on a more positive note I'm really proud of how her face and hair turned out! Side view is a challenge even with a base/guideline (especially when her nose shape is so different from demon slayer characters lolz) so while it's probably a minor thing to be proud of I'll still be proud of it. Hence why I emphasized her face with the lighting, or at least tried my best to. As for the hair, I gave her a relatively simple style so thankfully there's not too many qualms there. It was fun to draw :)
And for the dialogue, I was actually originally not going to add it, but I don't know I feel like it adds to the scene :D
Now, to commemorate the occasion, here's a taisho secret about Kiyomi!
While she gets very focused on her missions, she has also been known to veer off course and investigate if she has strong suspicions about something, earning the worry of her kasugai crow and past mission partners (which is also how this scene came to be).
