Grian ran out of the Ancient City. He didn't know if the Warden was still trying to find him. He ran to the first block of sand, quickly breaking it, and climbing into the tunnel, replacing the block behind him. For good measure, he placed another sand block on top of the other block.

"Come on, where is it???" Grian frantically searched for the other sand blocks he had placed earlier in order to help him to get out. Once he had found them, he quickly started to climb back up onto the surface.

"Damn, I really should have made this into a proper staircase.." Grian mumbled as his head continued to hit the blocks above him over and over again. Looking down at a small cracked that revealed the city, Grian took a sneak peek, trying to see if the Warden was catching up to him.

Suddenly, out of nowhere, a large shriek echoed through the caves. Grian got the worst of it, blood already starting to spill on his chest, legs, and arms. He took that as a sign to get away faster, so he did. He continued to climb the staircase, until another shriek echoed again. This time, Grian couldn't handle it, and his body was obliterated by the Warden's shrieks. Laying underneath the surface, he slowly began to die. His arms and legs were the most destroyed, crushed and blood flowing out from them. His head was injured when he fell forward, and his chest and stomach were completely wounded, holes everywhere, blood spilling out and flowing behind him. He took one last look at the walls of the cave before his life slipped away from him, just as fast when it first came to him.

"Oh I'm so sorry Scar.."

Scar rode his horse in the night, unaware of what is soulmate was doing. He had pretended not to care about Grian and BigB's 'secret soulmate' thing, but deep down, he felt betrayed by Grian. He continued to ride his horse through the mountains, not expecting what will happen next.

Suddenly, a striking pain shot through his body. Scar fell off his horse in pain. His arms and legs at gotten the worse of it.

"Gosh Grain, what happened???" Scar quickly tried to eat something to heal his and Grian's shared hearts, but before he could do that, another striking pain shot through him, this time, fatally wounding his chest and stomach. He fell to the ground, and watched as his life slowly left him.

<Grian was obliterated by a sonically-charged shriek>

Once the session had concluded, Grian and Scar were one of the first people to respawn on Hermitcraft.

Grian stirred lightly, before he completely woke up. Panic started to take over him as memories of Double Life came rushing back to him like a river. He sat up, his breathing ragged, and only one thing on his mind; Scar. He had to find him. He had to find his soulmate, and apologize for everything.

After a few minutes of flying around Hermitcraft, Grian finally found Scar. He was asleep against a tree not too far from his base. Taking a deep breath, Grian dove down and landed lightly, barely making any noise. Slowly, he walked towards the sleeping Scar and sat down beside him. Grian tried his best not to cry, but tears had already started to pool in his eyes. He wiped them away as he leaned into Scar, hearing his soft breathing, and slowly drifting off as well.

Once Grian had drifted off, Scar opened his eyes. He had not been sleeping, unlike Grian now, but he knew that Grian would look for him, and he also remembered everything. Scar put a hand on Grian's chest, before closing his eyes yet again.

After about a few minutes, Grian woke up. He felt a light pressure resting on his chest, and realized that Scar had been resting his hand there. Grian's breathing became ragged for a moment, before he calmed down again. Hugging his legs close, he stared at Scar.

When Scar had finally woken up, Grian couldn't hold it in anymore. He buried his face into Scar's shirt, letting out all the emotions he had been holding in for so long.

"Shh, it's okay Grian. I'm here." Scar spoke softly as he tried to calm Grian down.

"I-I'm sorry, I'm s-sorry, I'm so sorry S-Scar!" Grian cried. Scar smiled softly has he ran a hand through his hair.

"Grian. you don't need to apologize. You were an amazing soulmate, more than I could have ever asked for. While yes, I was a bit betrayed with you and BigB's 'secret soulmate' thing, you know I still stayed loyal to you. Honestly, I would've died way sooner without you." Scar smiled. Grian looked up at him, chuckling lightly.

"Hey, no saying that. You did amazing. Please don't say that to yourself." Grian muttered, while Scar continued to smile. Grian looked away for a moment, before he looked back up at Scar.

"Scar, you're an amazing soulmate. I love you.." Grian told him. Scar was surprised, but he smiled, wiping Grian's tears away.

"I love you too, Gri." Scar responded, wiping away a few tears of his own. Planting a light kiss on Grian's cheek, Scar held him closer. They stayed like that. Grian's head on Scar's chest, and Scar's arm wrapped around Grian. Eventually, they fell asleep looking at the beautiful moon that was high in the sky.

Later, as Xisuma was doing nightly rounds, he found Grian and Scar still sleeping underneath the tree. As Xisuma knew that the session of Double Life was over, he teleported them to Scar's base, and put them on Scar's bed. Grian cuddled closer to Scar, as Scar continued to smile in his sleep. Xisuma smiled lightly as he left the room, leaving the two soulmates hugging each other, smiling, not wanting to let each other go.

The next morning, Grian was the first one up. He tried to sit up, but was pulled back down. As his eyes adjusted to the morning light, he saw Scar next to him, still holding Grian by his waist. Grian smiled, leaning down to kiss Scar on the forehead.

"We'll always be together forever Scar. I love you."
