In the void, for the first time.

3rd Life was over, but there were still people.

A blond was searching for a certain brunette.

One who was a wolf hybrid.

His King, Ren.

Martyn paced in circles, trying to see if Ren had arrived yet.

It was confusing. Ren had died early on, but he was yet to appear in the void.

Was this a prank from the Watchers, or had Ren already gone back to Hermitcraft?

Martyn had searched everywhere, and he was about to give up, until he heard a him.

"Martyn..?"

Martyn turned around, seeing Ren right behind him. His feet took off without hesitation, and before either of them knew it, Martyn was holding onto Ren tightly.

"Oh my word- Ren!" Martyn cried out. Ren was here. Ren was safe. The Watchers didn't take him. Martyn continued to hold onto Ren tightly, not wanting to let go of his King. Ren was hugging him back, hiding his face in Martyn's shoulder.

The two lovers continued to hold each other tight, not caring that soon enough, they were all alone in the void. Everyone else had left, leaving them alone together.

"What happens now?" Ren quietly asked. His face still slightly hiding in Martyn's shoulder.

"What do you mean?" Martyn asked, clearly confused.

"Is there going to be another one of the games? Was this a test? Do we get to go home now? What will happen to everyone?" Ren asked. Martyn paused, just for a moment, before responding.

"I hope not. The Watchers want to test how we can do in these 'death games' so there might be another, but I don't want that to happen. We're dead now, Ren. We can go home anytime we'd like." Martyn answered, rubbing Ren's arm. Ren nodded silently. Soon enough, Ren pulled away from the hug, and a portal back to Hermitcraft opened.

"I guess I have to go back now. Will we keep in touch?" Ren asked, holding his hand out for Martyn to take.

"I promise we will. Don't worry Ren." Martyn smiled, kissing Ren on the cheek, to which Ren replied to kissing Martyn on the forehead.

"Okay then. I love you Martyn." Ren whispered, pulling away from Martyn and stepping into the portal.

"I love you too Ren." Martyn replied, watching as Ren went into the portal, before the portal closed, leaving Martyn all alone.

"I promise, we will reunite one day, my dear."
