TW:
- Mention of suicide

Grian never wanted this.
He never wanted to be a winner.
It was all simple in the beginning.
He allied with Scar after a prank went wrong, and he owed him.
He told Scar that he would stay until he lost his first life.
And so he did.
During the Battle of the Desert, Grian was shot, and he died.
Yet his loyalty never left Scar.
They stayed together, until the very end.
Yes, the end. It was quite a bloody battle.
Grian ended up winning, killing Scar in the process.
He then fell off the ledge, dying himself.
He never wanted this, but fate made him.

Scott never wanted this.
He never wanted to be the second winner.
He had allied with Pearl and Cleo, and they were called "Gatekeep, Girlboss, and Gaslight".
Joel had taken his first life, making him yellow.
He stayed with his alliance until they both died.
In the end, he was one of the final four.
Along with Pearl, Martyn, and Ren.
Martyn had killed Pearl, before he blew himself up.
In the end, it was battle between Ren and Scott.
Scott won, and then he died.
He never wanted this, but fate made him.

Pearl never wanted this.
She just wanted to be happy with her soulmate.
Scott.
But she made a grave mistake with Martyn in the first session.
They both went to the Nether, not looking for their soulmates first.
That ended up in both of their soulmates, Cleo and Scott, becoming soulmates themselves, and they left them.
Martyn soon left Pearl, and then she lost it.
An entity took over her, and she was called "Scarlet Pearl".
She ended up killing both Impulse and Bdubs, as well as Martyn and Cleo.
Until Scott found her.
He lit TNT underneath his feet, and killed himself.
And Pearl died along with him.
She was heartbroken, that her soulmate killed himself to let her win.
She never wanted this, but fate made her.

Martyn never wanted this.
He shouldn't have been the winner.
He killed his own ally, Scott.
They'd been together since day one.
They stayed together, despite the ups and downs.
When Martyn turned yellow, Scott still stayed with him.
When Martyn turned red, Scott still stayed with him.
Even if he was a red name.
They fought together, and never left each other until the very end.
In the end, it was just Impulse, Scott, and Martyn himself left.
Originally, it was going to be a fist fight to the death.
But Martyn was possessed by Watchers, and he didn't listen.
He ended up killing Scott and Impulse in cold blood, and he didn't care.
Only when he got in control of himself did he realize what he did.
He never wanted this, but fate made him.

Scar never wanted this.
Sure, he was alone the whole time, but he couldn't be a winner.
He tried to make alliances, but who would be his ally?
It was almost just like Last Life all over again.
When Scar realized that no one wanted him as an ally, then he started to keep to himself.
He built a sunflower base, and surrounded it by a huge wall.
He saw everyone's death, including his.
He was shot by Pearl, and was blown up by Skizz.
In the end, he ended up joining the Mounders, to fight Gem and the Scotts.
They ended up all dying, except for Pearl and Scar.
When Pearl died, Scar didn't know, until Grian told him.
He was the lonely winner.
He never wanted this, but fate made him.

Fate made all of them become winners, even if they didn't want to.

That's just how the world works.
