"Will you be the moon to my sun?"

Jimmy was the sun, and Scott was the moon.

They were known collectively as the 'Flower Husbands' seeing that they lived in a flower forest together, and they got married using flowers.

Or that's what they used to be called.

...

Did you hear that?

It's probably nothing, let's move on!

They were inseparable, never seen without the other. They always had each others back, defending one another.

They would chase each other through their home, laugh and tell stupid stories, give each other flower crowns. They would kiss, they would constantly cuddle, they just loved each other so, so much.

You could never break their love. They were united, like they had been soulmates their entire lives.

Stop talking. They're dead.

Was that the voice from earlier?

They're dead?

"Scott, he's dead.. You have to face that. I'm so sorry.."

He's dead..?

Jimmy's dead..?

My flower husband... he's dead.

"Scott, wake up."

[----------]

Scott awoke with a start, sweat and tears dripping down his face, his eyes red and puffy, his breathing ragged.

'That was all a dream, right?' Scott thought, shaking

'Jimmy isn't dead, he can't be!' He refused to believe that his dream... or nightmare, was real.

He felt cool stone behind him. Turning around, Scott looked at the stone, wondering why he wasn't in his base. As he got a look, his heart dropped.

It was real.

Jimmy was dead, and Scott was laying against Jimmy's grave.

All the memories came rushing back to his head at once, causing Scott to grip his head, tears forming at the corner of his eyes.

His dream, or reality as real.

Jimmy was dead.

And Scott couldn't save him.

His sun was gone.

His husband.

His everything.

If Scott hadn't gotten killed, he could've saved Jimmy.

But he was never able to.

Because fate has it's own way.
