Scar walked through the afterlife, waiting for his special someone.

Grian.

He had seen Grian kill himself, yet he hadn't arrived in the afterlife yet.

Gosh, Scar felt terrible. He didn't want to betray Grian, yet he had no choice.

He could still hear Grian's cries and shouts as he held his body, cupping Scar's face.

Scar had to watch every, single, little thing.

And it was brutal.

It was torture, having to see you lover cry out in your death.

Especially if it wasn't Grian's fault.

Sure, it was Scar's idea to fight to the death, but it wasn't Grian's fault for killing him.

It was a sick, twisted game.

That was the reason.

Scar watched Grian leave his dead body, and step over to the cliff.

Scar couldn't speak, he couldn't help Grian.

He was just forced to watch Grian fall off the cliff, killing himself and ending the first game.

Scar walked around trying to see if Grian had arrived yet, until he saw a flash from behind.

Grian was behind him, and when Scar opened his arms, he didn't hesitate to run into them.

Scar held Grian close, rubbing small circles into his back and whispering comforting words to him.

Eventually, Grian pulled his head out of Scar's chest, and asked one singular question.

"What happens next?" Grian asked.

Scar didn't now what was next, all he knew was that they were dead, but at least, reunited.

Taking a breath, Scar responded to Grian's question.

"Maybe there is no 'next'. Maybe this is our end, just for now." Scar replied.

Grian didn't know how to respond. He didn't know himself, but was this their true end?

"The end?" Grian asked.

"The end. Our end." Scar replied.

While they didn't know what would happen next, they had each other.

They were together in the afterlife, and hopefully, would stay together forever.
