Slight A/N about my computer:
So, earlier today, me and my mom went out to go bring my computer to the computer shop to get it checked out. However, when we got there, there was a sign that the shop would be closed until the 18th (this Sunday) So, at least I get to write some more! Now, onto the chapter!

Why are you crying, Grian?

Small, quiet yet strong voices broke through Grian's mind, whispering to him. He tried not to listen, as he sobbed over Scar's death, holding Scar's broken body.

Why are you crying?

The voices asked again. They sounded curious, like they've never seen someone cry before. Maybe they haven't, or they were genuinely wondering. They didn't sound like Watchers, whose voices where harsh and deep, cold and cruel. They sounded like young children, sounding no older than a few years old. Yet, despite the child-like voice, they sounded like a god, like a devine, heavenly being. Yet, Grian didn't listen to them again, still holding Scar's body close, tears streaking down his face, Scar's blood getting into his clothes.

The voices stayed quiet for a few more moments, likely observing Grian break down.

Because you deleted yourself from everyone's memory?

The voices spoke again, soft and gentle. Was Grian really pushing everyone away, making everyone not remember him? They said that he was deleting himself from everyone's memory, but was he really? He didn't know, or he just didn't remember. He did have multiple enemies who hated him and Scar, but also, he had allies. Yet, he felt like he pushed everyone away. All of his alliances were gone, all of them were dead. He called Scar a traitor when he let Bdubs kill Grian. Scar let Grian kill him.

So, in his grief in despair, he let the voices take control of him. Making him believe that he had gotten rid of himself, deleting anything about him in their memories.

But Grian,

The voices spoke his name once more, and Grian finally listened, believing every work they would say. He waited for what they were going to say next, and there was a long pause until they spoke again.

Isn't that what you wanted all along?

Grian paused, taking in the effect of the last sentence. He felt the voices leave his head, as he was now alone with his own thoughts.

Did he really want this? Did he want everyone to not remember him?

Did he want everyone to leave him here in this cruel world, where he was still holding Scar's lifeless body?

He knew, he deserved this.

He deserved the misery, he deserved the regret.

Because, at the end of the day, he would be all along again, his friends and allies gone, all dead.

Grian wanted to get out of here. Out of this hellhole.

So, knowing that he was on his final life, Grian kissed Scar on the forehead one last time, and stood up, wiping his tears away. He walked towards the edge of the cliff, looking at the very long drop down. He folded his wings in, and took a deep breath.

Grian was going to end his own life.

So he fell off the cliff, not spreading his wings, not regretting his decision.

His final goodbye to Scar, one he could never say to him, was on his lips as his body crashed into the hard desert ground below.

And he died, losing his last life.

<Grian fell from a high place.>
