(Catnap's POV)

Me, Dogday and Neko were all walking through the mall, visiting different areas and stores as we discussed about different types of our interests and such.

After a while, I noticed Neko was starting to become the slightest bit fussy, crossing his arms and drifting his attention away from us as he stared blankly at random objects.

"Oh, right. We're supposed to get ice cream aren't we?" Dogday suddenly asked, I had completely forgotten about me saying that earlier, I felt really bad now that I forgot a simple promise I had given to Neko...

"Yeah! Finally, thank you, Dogday... I didn't want to sound ungrateful so I never pointed it out..." Neko mumbled as I felt even worse.

"Neko, don't worry, if I forget something special, just remind me, okay?" I stated as Neko nodded and began walking to another part of the mall.

A couple of minutes later, we finally arrived at... Basically the only place that even served ice cream, man, malls are NOT as big as they used to be...

"Hey, could I get chocolate? If they have it, that is..." Neko asked as I nodded, but thought of a different idea.

"Actually, do you want fudge? They have that!" I noted as Neko looked surprised, but nodded his head quickly in excitement, Neko loved fudge, it was his favorite flavor of... Everything pretty much.

"Ooh, I'll probably get peanut butter, what about you, Catnap?" Dogday asked as I thought for a bit, stopping when we got to the counter.

Well, I didn't have enough time, so time to go with old reliable...

A couple minutes later

All 3 of us got our ice cream as Neko got chocolate fudge, Dogday got peanut butter, and I got butterscotch toffee.

"The hells in that?" Dogday asked as he ate his ice cream, he had it in a cup as he didn't prefer cones, but to be fair, neither did me or Neko...

"Just butterscotch toffee." I stated as Dogday looked at me with wide eyes, looking disturbed as he ate his ice cream while eyeing me.

"Whatever helps your taste buds function..." Dogday muttered as Neko laughed, clearly enjoying his time with us.

"Say, Neko, are you an attention seeker by chance?-" Dogday tried asking, but Neko interrupted him immediately.

"Yes." Neko said with a straight face, staring at Dogday as he chuckled nervously, but Neko went back to normal and giggled as he continued eating.

"Hey, watch it, Neko! Don't eat too fast, you'll get a-" I tried halting Neko from eating his ice cream quickly, but he suddenly stopped walking and handed me his cup, holding his head in his hands.

He groaned and rolled around as he suffered from brain freeze, I stared at him in disappointment as he slowly got up, humming to himself.

"...Brain freeze..." I finished as I handed Neko his cup, which he ate slowly this time around, looking a bit dissatisfied now.

As we were all walking, a group approached us, and it turned out to be some guys and girls that Dogday knew, as he greeted them.

"Hey, guys! What're you all doing here?" Dogday asked as they all spread around, some talking to Dogday, others starting to converse with me.

Neko sat in silence as he watched from the distance, eyeing me as his eye twitched in annoyance whenever someone got close to me.

"Hey there, you're that Catnap guy that plays baseball, right?" Someone asked me as I turned to face them.

They were the yellow chicken that chucked paper balls at Neko, he stood there, crossing his arms as he waited for my response.

"...Yeah." I said softly as he nodded and tried talking again, Neko noticeably getting angrier the more this guy was in my presence.

"Well, listen, my name's KickenChicken, and I was wondering-" Kicken tried asking me for something, but Neko snapped and walked beside me, putting his hand in between us as he stared at Kicken.

Kicken noticeably became worried as soon as he saw Neko, and Neko clutched his ice cream, handing it to me as I slowly grabbed it from him.

"N- Neko, calm down, alright? He's not trying to take me away from you, I swear..." I stated as Neko stood in front of Kicken, who seemed to be more annoyed than intimidated at this point.

"I'm gonna give you 5 seconds to get out of here." Neko mumbled as Kicken leaned back and pushed Neko away with a single hand.

"I'm not going anywhere, also, you seem like a pretty creepy guy, you sure you're not keeping these guys hostage?" Kicken mocked as Neko looked at me slowly.

"Catnap, get Dogday and wait in the car outside." Neko ordered as my heart sunk into my chest.

"N- Neko?! No, you're not starting another fight!" I protested as Neko sighed in disbelief, putting his hand to his face.

"Then you'll have to watch, cause' I don't see you stopping me." Neko said in a low voice as he turned back to Kicken and slipped his jacket off.

He threw his jacket into the air as he was now rocking a grey t-shirt, with multiple bruises and scars, as well as eye tattoos on each of his arms.

"You think you're tough shit? Come on!" Kicken protested as he held his fists up, and immediately tried hitting Neko.

He caught Kicken's hand an inch from his face and twisted it as Kicken panicked and tried hitting him with his other hand, people gathering around, watching.

Neko grabbed his other hand and held both of them in the air as Neko smiled sadistically, giggling a bit as he opened his mouth and revealed razor sharp teeth.

Kicken panicked again, and before he could do anything, Neko swung his head forward and hit Kicken on the beak, cracking it and making him fall to his knees.

Neko grabbed him before he could fall further, and chomped down on his neck as blood dripped from Kicken's face, he screamed in pain as Neko dropped him.

Everyone screamed in horror as Kicken laid there, grasping at his neck as Neko stomped on his elbow, breaking his arm as he kicked at Kicken and laughed, walking back to me and Dogday.

"You sick fuck! You'll pay for that!" A bystander that none of us knew yelled as he tried to kick Neko from behind.

Neko dodged spectacularly and spun around as he appeared behind the bystander, smiling again as he pulled out a sharp piece of glass from his pocket.

"Cash or card?" Neko mocked as he slashed down and sliced the bystanders neck, killing him instantly as he dropped dead on the ground.

"HOLY SHIT!! Neko, that's enough! We're going home!" I yelled as I grabbed Dogday and Neko, running away as everyone screamed and ran away in terror.

We all ran out of the mall as Neko laughed maniacally, I threw him into my car as Dogday sat down and I also got in along with them.

I put my car in drive and sped off, not caring about street signs or other cars pulling away, my heart was pounding at this moment...

I thought everything would be okay today... Why'd it have to be a Monday...?!
