Chapter 83☁️

(Dogday's POV)

I woke up next to Catnap, rubbing my eyes as I slowly reached to my left, grabbing at the blinds of the window next to me and pulling them up.

I looked outside to see a scene being caused outside, there was a massive fire spreading on a building and people were being rushed outside, though it wasn't any harm to us.

But wait... Who caused that fire...? Or WHAT even...?

"Me." I heard a voice speak behind me, though I had only been speaking in my head, there's no way anyone heard me...

I turned around and saw Neko behind me, looking at me with bags under his eye sockets, he looked a lot more distressed than last time I saw him.

I almost screamed, but Neko put a hand to my mouth, shushing me as he pointed to Catnap, I was extremely confused, why was Neko here? I thought he was in Japan?

"Neko, why are you here...? You're meant to be in Japan...!" I whispered, Neko cleared his throat quietly before speaking.

"Yeah, about that... Turns out, when I got there, I found out Shibuya was decimated... Completely, so that bummed me out." Neko stated.

"...That's why you came back?" I asked, Neko tilted his hand sideways in a "Eh" motion.

"Sorta... But... I guess there was this guy in a white suit I met." Neko explained.

"Said his name was Kazuma... Something, all I know is he was probably a Yakuza." Neko said, I scoffed a bit, getting out of bed quietly.

"God, I am NOT ready for school... I feel like shit all of the sudden..." I muttered. Neko teleported out of bed and put a hand to my head...

"Jesus Christ, dude you're burning up..." Neko muttered, grabbing me by my waist and lifting me into the air.

He extended his arms to freakishly long proportions, laying me back down in bed as he walked up to Catnap.

"Don't... Ever do that again, that was so weird..." I muttered, Neko chuckled a bit as he put a hand to Catnap's head as well.

"...Shit... Catnap's hot too, the hell's going on?" Neko asked as I shrugged, but when I did, o heard something underneath me, someone was downstairs already...

"Wow, someone took a shower THAT early?" I muttered to myself, Neko turned around and walked to our bedroom door, opening it slightly.

"Stay in bed, both of you, I'll go see what's going on." Neko whispered as he crept out of our room, closing the door on his way out.

I laid back down next to Catnap, stretching a bit as I yawned, I didn't know if I had a fever or anything, honestly I was kinda hoping I did...

Catnap suddenly sat up slowly, rubbing his eyes as he looked at me, groaning as he felt his head.

"God, I feel terrible... What happened?" Catnap asked as he looked around.

"Uh... Neko came back home-" I began, Catnap snapped his head towards me, wide eyed when I spoke.

"HE WHAT??" Catnap asked frantically.

"BUT... He noticed that our temperatures are pretty high, we might be sick..." I continued, Catnap calmed down a bit when I said the last part, not sure if he was still thinking of Neko...

"Where's Neko right now?" Catnap asked as I pointed down.

"Under us, he's downstairs checking on a noise we heard." I explained, Catnap sat up and sniffled a bit, grabbing a tissue next to him and blowing his nose.

"Ugh... Fuck, yeah I'm sick." Catnap muttered as he cleared his throat, going to our bedroom door as he twisted the door knob.

He opened the door to see Neko standing there, Neko walked into the room as he waved to Catnap, giggling when he looked at him.

"So... Turns out EVERYONE is sick...! I'm pretty sure it has to do something with too much stress, a lot has happened this past week." Neko explained.

I sat up, scratching the back of my neck as I stretched, walking past Neko as he looked at me with slight concern.

Well... If we're all sick, today will certainly be something...
