(Catnap's POV)

It had been a while after we all got together, Crafty and the rest of the girls were simply playing classic games, Kicken and Bubba were comparing their smarts, though Kicken was losing terribly...

Dogday and Neko were... I dunno WHAT they were doing actually... They seemed to be watching TV, strange for them since nobody ever watches TV unless a movie is on...

But it was just the news, nothing more... So why were Dogday and Neko so into it?

"...Catnap... Get a look at this." Dogday said softly as I leaned over the couch they were both on, I read the news broadcast as followed...

BREAKING NEWS: Sudden spike in mass destruction and fatal injuries/casualties leaves local officials stunned...

"As previously shown in the images brought below me, it appears that mass amounts of destruction of property, INCLUDING casualties and fatal or minor injuries have been spiking in recently this afternoon."

"Officials are looking further into the matter as citizens around the area that have yet to be harmed are being evacuated out of the local rural part of the city..."

Neko cleared his throat as he dropped the remote, Dogday and I looked at him as he stood up and scratched his head.

"That's... Weird, I haven't been doing anything that's caused any of THAT. It's probably a landslide or something..." Neko said.

"Neko...! We were watching that!" Dogday said softly, taking the remote and turning the TV back on, Kicken, Bubba, and the rest of the critters joined us as the TV lit up again.

"-Our officials state that none of the previous incidents could have possibly been caused naturally or by any force of weather, it seems as though someone has deliberately been causing havoc around the city!"

The channel cut to a different section as Neko sat back down, most of the critters seemed concerned or frightened over the conditions...

"After careful examination of the scene's, we have deduced that the chaos caused earlier today does NOT have anything to do with natural occurrences, though there have been no traces of what could have actually happened in any parts of the aftermath..."

"We have reason to believe a deadly force is wreaking havoc around the city and causing these mass killings and other destruction of property that will NOT be tolerated. We are on the move of contacting multiple detectives and other authority to handle the matter."

Dogday shut the TV off this time, he placed the remote down as he slowly looked at Neko, as did everybody else, Neko looked at us, he seemed cornered and confused.

"Wha- DON'T LOOK AT ME YOU ASSHOLES!" Neko yelled as he stood up and threw his hands in the air.

"Neko, you're the only one here capable of doing any amount of that stuff..." Bubba said.

"I've been here all day! Plus that all happened on the other side of the city! There's no possible way it could have been me!" Neko claimed.

Bubba hummed and nodded in response, he looked at everybody else to see if they had any type of argument, but there was nobody to speak.

"Well, if Neko isn't the one causing mayhem in New York, who IS??" Hoppy asked as everybody started getting more concerned, Neko especially.

"I wouldn't know! I'm the only person capable of doing that stuff, but none of that was me! I swear!" Neko said as everybody kept progressively getting more nervous by the second.

"Look- EVERYONE! Calm down!" Bubba shouted as everybody focused their attention on him.

"Turn the TV back on, theres gotta be answers somewhere, SOMEHOW." Bubba ordered as Kicken bent over on the couch, almost punching the remote as the TV was switched back on.

As the TV turned on Neko stood up and walked away, holding a hand to his chin, probably trying to think of some way to find whoever was causing this.

Nobody stopped him as we kept watching the broadcast, more officials and other authority were brought on scene as they gave their speeches about the matter.

"The NYPD will NOT stand for whoever, or whatever is causing this sudden twist of events, we are on the search for any traces as to what could be causing this sudden surge of killing and destruction."

Another official stood where the previous was, holding papers in his hand as he got ready to speak, looking at the crowd and camera in front of him.

I peered over my shoulder as I saw Neko staring out of a window looking like he was focusing on something, he held out of his hand as if he was trying to grab something that wasn't there...

"As the situation grows heavier on us, we are trying our best to-" The official was cut off of his own words as he stopped talking, staring into the camera as he stood silent.

His pupils shrunk completely as he dropped his head onto the stand in front of him, collapsing on camera as everyone on the scene rushed to his aid, and the camera was cut.

Everybody in the room was freaking out, Neko rushed back to the room as he looked at the TV, he panicked too as he rushed back to the window and shut it, covering the blinds as he rushed to turn the lights in the house off.

We all just saw a guy die on TV... From nothing...?! That can't be right...!!

Neko saw something suspicious, I know he did, if not, why the hell is he trying so hard to cover the inside of our house up??
