(Dogday's POV)

I sat in the passenger seat of Catnap's car as Neko sat in the backseat, holding his head in his hands, finally calming himself down as he stopped laughing after a couple of minutes.

He seemed to be knocked out completely, sleeping peacefully in the backseat as we sped away from the mall, Catnap looking petrified as we passed a multitude of cars.

"Oh my god, Neko killed someone, what're we gonna do?!" I panicked as Catnap continued driving, shaking as he continued on the freeway.

"I don't know!! I don't know what we're gonna do! We'll think of it after we drop you off!" Catnap shouted as I continued hyperventilating.

"Don't you think it'd be better if I stayed at your place?!" I asked as Catnap didn't even think, he just simply nodded frantically.

"Yeah, alright, let's do that!" Catnap stated as he turned into our neighborhood and pulled up next to his house, driving into his garage and parking.

Neko coincidentally woke up as soon as we pulled in and rubbed his eyes, humming softly as he sat up.

"Wha' happened...?" Neko asked softly as Catnap opened his backseat door and practically yanked Neko out of the car, dragging him inside as I followed.

Catnap sat Neko down on the couch as he looked confused and scared, sitting in a criss cross position as he had his hands in his lap.

"Neko, that was... Unbelievably terrible, I can't believe you did that!" Catnap stated as he held his head in his hands, panicking as Neko increasingly became worried.

"D- Did what...?! I don't remember anything!" Neko asked as Catnap groaned in disbelief, looking at me to make sure I was hearing everything he was hearing.

"NEKO, YOU KILLED SOMEONE!!" Catnap shouted, his voice echoing as I awkwardly sat down nearby, listening to their arguing.

"I'M SORRY?! THE FUCK YOU WANT ME TO DO ABOUT THAT?! DON'T SHOUT AT ME!!" Neko protested as I considered just waiting outside, but I would probably just make the situation worse, letting them know I was bothered by them shouting.

Eventually, things started to cool down, and instead of arguing, Catnap began to scold Neko as Neko got noticeably worried.

"Neko, at this point the cops are gonna come to our house, and they're gonna take you away!" Catnap exclaimed as Neko buried his head into his knees, but Catnap didn't seem to let up with his scolding.

"C- Catnap...? Maybe you should be more gentle... I think Neko's crying...!" I stated as Catnap looked at me, he shook his head violently as he looked back at Neko slowly.

Neko raised his head from his knees and stood up, his eyes filled with tears and hate, Catnap slowly backed up as Neko breathed heavily.

"A- Alright, listen Neko... I went a bit overboard, I'll admit...-" Catnap tried assessing the situation, but Neko grabbed Catnap by his shirt and screamed as he threw him over his couch.

Catnap fell to the floor as Neko burst the door open and ran outside, I followed him outside as I tried to stop him, but he turned around and grabbed me by my shoulders.

The last thing I saw was Neko coiling his head back as he launched in straight towards me, then everything went black.

A few minutes later

I woke up after what seemed to be a couple hours, but when I turned my head, I noticed it was still daytime.

I looked around and noticed I was in Catnap's living room, Catnap sitting beside me as he turned to me and noticed I was awake, smiling as he held me in his arms.

"Dogday, are you alright?! I saw what Neko did to you, I'm so sorry that happened, I shouldn't have lashed out at him like that..." Catnap explained as I sighed softly and held Catnap's head.

"It's alright, I shouldn't have followed him outside, we all make mistakes..." I mumbled as Catnap cuddled me, purring softly.

"But where's Neko...? Did he run off?" I asked as Catnap shook his head.

"No, turns out he hit you so hard, he knocked himself out, so I carried him to my room, he's sleeping right now..." Catnap muttered as he rested his head in the crook of my neck.

I held Catnap in my arms as we cuddled together, I felt nice and at peace when we did stuff like this, it was truly an experience.

"I don't think I can go to school tomorrow..." I said softly, Catnap chuckling a bit.

"I don't think any of us can tomorrow..." He responded.
