(Catnap's POV)
It had been an hour after my shift started, I had been serving drinks to people, most of them were people in their 20's, sometimes 25's...
Me and Dogday constantly passed each other, carrying drinks and exchanging very few words to each other, as we had to focus on our job more than ourselves.
Eventually, things started to die down, some people left after they were satisfied, some complimented me and Dogday before leaving, probably still drunk.
Surprisingly, a good amount of people actually ended up leaving tips for me and Dogday, saying that I worked well together, Dogday enjoying every compliment he got.
People seemed to like me and Dogday, they liked my style, they liked Dogday's enthusiasm, and that was great.
Someone else walked into the bar and leaned against a counter as they talked to the bartender, I couldn't get a good look at their face due to the lights being shut off at the entrance.
The bartender signaled me over to him, and I waltzed over to the other side of the counter, he handed me a glass of what seemed to be vodka and... Whiskey...?
Ew... What kind of maniac combines that stuff...? Unless they're looking to get drunk quickly...
"Go to uh... Table 2, over there." He said, pointing to an open table that had someone sitting down, their head resting downwards.
I walked over to the table as I placed the drink on the surface, they looked at the glass and gave me a thumbs up.
"That was fast man, thanks." He said, his voice sounding tired, yet... Oddly familiar...
"Will that be all? Or do you want something else?" I asked as I put my hands behind my back, but the man froze when he heard my voice.
He slowly looked up at me, and I could see him clearly as his face entered the light...
It was Neko...
We both stared at each other, Neko paralyzed in fear, me being frozen in disbelief, and the slightest hint of disappointment.
"N- Neko... What're you doing here...?" I asked as Neko fumbled with his hands, not touching the drink at all.
"I've never seen you touch a drop of alcohol in my life..." I mumbled as Neko stood up, looking extremely distraught as he turned to leave.
"N- Neko? Where are you going?" I asked as Neko turned to me with his hands in his pockets.
"I can tell I'm in trouble... Please don't yell at me when we get home..." He mumbled, his tail wrapped around his waist shyly.
"What? No, you're not in trouble... I'm just shocked is all... Go on, sit back down." I offered as Neko took a sigh of relief, sitting back down as I walked away.
Eventually, I saw a glimpse of Neko drinking the glass, chugging it in less than 5 seconds, he wiped his mouth as he out a hand to his face and shook his head.
I walked over to Dogday, he looked fly and happy in his suit as he had his hands behind his back, he smiled at me when I walked over to him.
He gave me a small peck on the cheek as he held me close to him by my waist, by I tapped him with my elbow to get his attention.
"Yeah? What is it, Catnap?" He asked as I pointed towards Neko, his smile immediately faded as he watched Neko drink another glass, getting progressively drunker and drunker by the minute.
"Oh my god... Is this what he does in his free time...?" He asked me as I paused, but then nodded, not really knowing myself.
"Poor Neko... He won't be able to manage himself while being drunk..." Dogday muttered, he grasped my hand, a hint of sadness in his voice as Neko stood up.
He rubbed his eyes as he took one step and stumbled a bit, catching himself on the table as the bartender walked over to him.
"Sir you've had 4 drinks of the strongest combination we have, are you sure you're alright?" He asked Neko as Neko nodded, the bartender helping him stand.
"T- Thamks... Beartender... Man..." Neko basically made up his own words, stumbling back a bit as he collapsed backwards, sliding down a wall next to me and Dogday.
The bartender looked at us as I stepped away from Dogday, Dogday helping Neko stand back up as he patted Neko on the back.
"Do you know that gentleman? He's the infamous regular here." The bartender asked as I nodded.
"Yeah... He actually lives with me... He's a type of house pet." I stated, the bartender's eyes widened.
"You keep that man as a pet...?!" He asked, stepping back a bit.
"N- No, no! I mean, he's a roommate of mine, I just have to treat him AS a house pet." I corrected myself, the bartender looking a lot calmer now.
"Hm, alright then, closing time is almost here, and nobody comes in after this time... It's getting dark, you three should go home." The bartender offered, and I nodded as the bartender went back behind the counter.
He counted the money we made as me and Dogday went into the back room, taking our suits off and putting our normal clothes back on.
Dogday turned around, he panicked and tapped my shoulder as I curiously turned around myself, I saw Neko leaning against the doorframe of the warehouse.
"H- Heeeey... Whats up... Guysssss...~" Neko said playfully, he hiccuped through some of his words, me and Dogday looked at each other.
Something felt different about this room now, Neko walked towards us and the room suddenly got hotter, I puffed my shirt back and forth to give myself some cool air as Dogday backed up.
"Neko, are you feeling alright-" I tried asking, but Neko placed his hands to both of my sides and pinned me to the wall.
"I dunno... I'm tired... But I want some excitement..." Neko said softly, Dogday placing a hand on his shoulder.
"Neko... If you're feeling horny... We can go have fun at home... Now's not the time to-" Dogday spoke.
"Hold on... This could work." I said, thinking of a good couple of ideas that we could all do...
