(Catnap's POV)

Neko was sitting down in the middle of the couch as he continuously ate the noodles I previously gave him, although when Bubba sat down with him, he surprisingly moved to the farthest side of the couch...

"...Is there something wrong with me, Neko?" Bubba asked as Neko shook his head and continued eating.

"Nah, I'm... I'm just giving you some space." Neko stated.

Neko continued eating as he eventually forked up the last bits of noddles and tossed the bowl into the air.

He stopped the bowl mid-air and gently guided it with telekinesis through the living room and into the kitchen.

Once Neko finished that, he cracked his neck, then gently climbed up onto the top of the couch and curled up like a cat, closing his eyes.

I walked over to Neko as he continued sleeping, although he had his head curled onto his arms, normally his head would just sink I between his arms... Unless he had a headache or something of the sorts.

"Neko? Are you feeling alright...?" I asked as Neko looked up at me, then sighed as he shook his head slowly.

"Well, it's 8 PM, I can carry you to bed if you'd like." I stated, Neko didn't say anything, instead, he just continued staring at the wall.

"Neko, I can tell you have a headache, here, I'll carry you to bed. It's late anyways." I stated, scooping Neko up as he whined slightly, his hand sliding off of the couch as I kept him in my arms.

Bobby walked in front of me from behind a corner by accident as she jumped a little when she saw us both, but she quickly calmed down when she took the situation in.

"Well, look at YOU two!~ Going to bed so early?" She asked jokingly, I sighed as Neko mumbled something to himself, although it kind of just sounded like him whining and complaining.

"...Well... Neko is, his bedtime is in an hour anyways." I replied back after sighing, unfortunately, Hoppy also walked up to me from behind.

"Aww, you even made a bedtime for him? That's so adorable...~" Hoppy teased as I jumped a little, holding Neko close to me as he sighed softly.

"Guys, I wouldn't recommend teasing Neko, he WILL hit a woman, no hesitation." I stated, both of them seemed concerned and backed away, letting me walk by them as I made my way to our room.

I opened the door and laid Neko down in the middle of the bed, I went back and was ready to close the door, but when I did, I turned around and saw Dogday.

"AH! Geez... Geez, Dogday, you scared me..." I mumbled, Neko cowered under the covers as he covered his ears immediately, he's always hated loud sounds...

"Well, I saw you trying to go to bed, and I can't just let you forget about me!" Dogday replied cheerfully with a smile.

"...Fair enough." I muttered as I climbed into bed and hugged Neko close to me, although... Neko took his beanie off this time...

He tossed it onto a nearby table along with... His jacket...?

Something's up, this is the first time Neko has ever NOT worn his jacket and beanie to bed... I swear, if he has another plan to-

"Catnap, do you love me?" Neko asked softly, Dogday suddenly sat up as he looked at Neko with a concerned look.

"...I can already see where THIS is going, I'll let you two have a moment." Dogday stated, putting two earbuds in his ears as he turned away and closed his eyes as he laid back down.

"Well... Well yeah...! Of course I do, Neko. We've known each other for years..." I replied back softly, lifting the covers above Neko's shoulders so he felt comfortable.

"...All those times I walked over to you in school, then immediately walked away... Did you have any idea what was going on?" Neko asked me, I simply shook my head softly.

Neko stared into my eyes as he sighed, then hugged me close to him, resting his head on my shoulder as he nuzzled me affectionately.

"Then let me tell you." Neko mumbled.

"Let me tell you the pain I had to go through... For a 50/50 chance of this life, or one for worse." Neko started.
