It's almost midday when Asha woke up. She didn't open her eyes though. She tried to feel her surroundings and she felt she wasn't alone. She can feel someone stroking her long hair as if touching a very fine china so fragile that every brush is so gentle and caring so it wouldn't break. His cool fingers let her know that Dumu didn't leave her while asleep. She is enveloped within his cool embrace. Her back against his cool chest.

Fainting after using mana for too long isn't new to her. It was a frequent occurrence actually, most especially if she is in the middle of a very difficult mission wherein she needs to use mana continuously in a long period of time and in large amounts back in her world. That's one reason why her father always pair her with Mamoru, he's the only one her father trusted to take care of her if worse comes to worst.

It's almost half a year since she got sent to the beast world. It has been too long and yet, she doesn't have a clue on how to travel back to her world. As time passes by, her resolve of finding a way back is getting pushed to the side, getting neglected. Having a husband, friends and other people orrrr beast men in particular, by her side makes her forget of her first goal, to go back to her world. Sometimes, she thinks that she's getting more attached to this world that's why she's beginning to forget. She's beginning to enjoy her new life in the beast world. She wonders if her father is still looking for her. Maybe he thinks she's already dead.

But it's impossible for her father to stop for she knows how much her father loves her. But is it okay for him to be left alone. She knows the Mafia will always be with him but ever since her mother died, he never looked for another woman to replace her. He devotedly uses all his time and his attention to her and the Mafia. Sometimes she wonders if her father ever get lonely. And now that she has been missing for months if she will consider the time difference in the beast world, she felt guilty for making her father more lonely.

Does Mamoru feel the same though? They were secretly seeing each other for long. There are times when she's suspicious that her father knows but just faints ignorance. They were each other's first on almost everything. The promise of being together forever is now in shambles. Is he looking for her just like her father? Or has he forgotten all about her? You can't ever forget your first love, she can prove this true. She missed him, it's a lie if she says she didn't.

With his aloof personality and cold demeanor, Mamoru always have trouble getting close to others, not that he doesn't mind but he doesn't care. He prefers to be alone. His handsome face always attracts people, especially the ladies. But when he opens his sarcastic and foul mouth, they would always back away from fear of him. That's one reason why he always gets in trouble, he doesn't mind though. The more people dislikes him, the more he likes it for he gets to enjoy his personal space more peacefully.

And that's what she likes about him. His no care attitude. Asha can be giving and caring in other's people's eyes, but when it comes to everything she owns, she's greedy. Mamoru's cold personality that he shows others is what she likes for no one wants to be near him. She gets to have him all to herself. Everyone has a mean bone in their body. Even she has one... or two... she was never a saint.

When they are alone together, it's the only time he lets his guard down. She gets to see everything that no one else can. It's all hers. Dumu reminds her of him in some way....

She felt Dumu's embrace tighten more and a cool hand lay atop her breasts.

"Are you feeling better my wife? Your heartbeat became faster. I can feel it from your back and from your breasts. Do you want to sleep more or are you hungry?"

Asha took his hand from her beating chest and gently kissed his palm then his wrist.

"I'm okay. Aren't you bored husband? Did you wait for me to wake up?"
