Chapter 103 - An opportunity (Part 4)*

"You bastard! Let go off my wife!!!"

Dumu was seething when he saw Jedrek kissing his wife. He dashed and grabbed him by the shoulders to throw him away from her. Jedrek rolled and skid at the entrance of the cave he was hiding Asha.

"Asha!!! Asha can you hear me?! I am here now. I am here now wife...," Dumu hugged Asha tightly in his arms. He can't stop his trembling body from holding her close. His anxiety that he wouldn't be able to find her was too much. He doesn't want to let her go. He is thinking that if he let her go, she would disappear again and it will be more difficult to ever see her again.

I knew you would find me husband... I believed you will find me... Dumu, let Jedrek go... I need him to....

Dumu looked at his wife. She was so pale and weak that she can't even move any part of her body. He saw a tear slide from the side of her eye before it closed again. He began to panic when he felt her body fell limply in his arms. He immediately put his head on her breast to hear her faint heartbeat.

"You fucking fox bastard! How dare you steal my master from us! Die!"

Tarik morphed to his beast form when he saw Jedrek trying to get up before pouncing on him. Sensing the danger, Jedrek swiftly avoided him and also morphed to his beast form. The two canines started to fight. The brawl of one white and one dark gray beast can be seen while Onslo hurriedly went inside the cave to check Asha's condition with Theo in tow.

"Brother snake, we need a lot of colorless crystals! We need to remove all the black energy in her body or she will die!"

Onslo panicked as he can see thick cloudy black aura surrounding Asha's body. Her green aura is fading. Even the red soul trapped inside her dims. They need to hurry or it will be too late.

Dumu immediately morphed to his beast form and regurgitated. He doesn't care anymore about his treasures. Anyone can steal all the crystals he collected his entire life. He'll do anything so he can save his wife. He vomited all the crystals he has been keeping before turning back to his half snake form.

"Use all the crystals you need. Just make sure to save my wife while I kill that bastard."

Dumu slithered outside the cave and saw Jedrek hit Tarik hard with his tail that threw the wolf towards his direction. He held Tarik's body to a stop. Tarik growls annoyingly while glaring at Jedrek.

"This is my fight Tarik. Me and this bastard needs to end what we have started a long time ago. Go to our wife and stay with her."

Tarik looked at Dumu who watches Jedrek menacingly. He morphs back to his perfect form and went inside the cave. Theo is helping Onslo find all the colorless crystals from the pile of Dumu's collection. He walked towards his master, his heart bleeds for her while his blood begins to boil with anger when he saw her condition.

"Master...."

Jedrek morphs back to his perfect form as Dumu slithers towards him. The wind is getting stronger as the snow begins to fall.

"I should have killed you back at the fox village. I did not know that a village chief would stoop down this low and be villainous just to steal another male's wife."

"I will gladly give up my position as chief if needed be. I do not care what happens to that village my beautiful Asha does not like to go back to. I will do everything as long as I can be beside my beautiful wife."

"Your beautiful Asha!?! Your beautiful wife!?! You damn bastard!!! Repeat those words and I am going to cut that tongue of yours so you cannot utter my wife's name with your filthy mouth!"
