Zale and Dylan was surprised to see Asha on the beach after they were done doing their patrol. They relay Asha's message to Ervin and the elephant leading their small team at the beach on the Abundant Plains that Asha will be available after eight days and only the leaders of every village or kingdom will be allowed to enter the island along with two escorts. If they disagree with following the rules of the island, they won't be allowed to enter.

That's the reason why the waters, which they named the sea of Jonas, is peaceful this day. No mermen are loitering at the borders and no land beast men camping at the Abundant Plains can be seen. This gave Asha privacy with her husband that doesn't want to leave her side.

"We were not expecting to see you here guild master," Zale said.

"I'm checking the beach for I'm planning to create a docking area for receiving outsiders before they even set foot on the island. Let's just say that they'll be screened first to check if they are allowed to get inside. This port will also be the busiest area for the boats that Zeev and the others are making will be placed."

Dylan nods, "we will be busy when the time this island will be open to receive outsiders. We need to stay vigilant. Not all beast man have good intentions. Especially the mermen. Guild master, do not trust everything that comes out from Merrik's mouth. And do not stare directly to his eyes for too long. I know he will try to do every trick and charm he knows to beguile you. This is the first time he sent mermen and ask permission to enter the island. He was never like this. Knowing him, he would have just trespassed and do whatever he wanted without a care for others. But he did not do it, hence, he was being polite. It is making me and Zale more worried for what he is planning."

"Being polite is never in that stinky merman's blood. We are worried that you are letting him in the island and he might do something we are not expecting. We are certain he has his own selfish agenda why he is approaching you like this guild master. For many cycles, we know how these mermen do things...," Zale added as he looks at Asha with worry and deep concern. Asha was deeply touched with how these two chiefs treat her. She smiled.

"Thank you. Be calm for I guarantee you two that I'll be fine. Dumu has been telling me about these mermen when we started to travel the beast world together and he doesn't like them too. If my husband and even my family is telling me to be cautious, why shouldn't I? Will I trust a mere stranger than you guys who have been with me through thick and thin? Sooner or later, I have to face him so meeting him is inevitable. From leader to another, we will need to meet because of circumstances we won't be able to avoid. So don't fret. I'll be on my toes and always be cautious. Where is Isla by the way? She didn't come with you two?"

Dylan sadly replied, "she is not feeling well that is why she did not come with us."

Asha can see how worried the two are, "d'you want me to check her condition? I see worry in both your eyes. Is it that serious?"

The two looked at each other before looking back at Asha. Zale is the one who spoke first.

"We think Isla is pregnant, that is why she is not feeling well these days."

Asha smiled happily, "then this is good news, right?" She and Dumu looked at each other when the two remained down and sad.

"Isla has a weak body. She got pregnant before, thrice to be exact. But she had miscarriages. Isla might seem like a very cheerful and carefree female, but deep inside, she is depressed. She has always wanted to bear our cubs but failed every time she gets pregnant. That is why we do not have cubs yet, even if we have been mates for long," Dylan explained.
