"Why are you crying Asha?"
Shay worriedly wipes the tears continuously flowing from her eyes. Asha doesn't understand why her chest feels so tight. She have read what's written on the pillar over and over. She can feel how sad and lonely the writer was. Her hand trembles as she gently touch the bloody stained pillar in front of her.
"I... I don't know why I can't stop my tears. I feel so sad...."
Shay hugs her close as she continues to sob. He stares at the pillar and wonders what was written. He is getting angry because this pillar not only hurt his wife's hands but also made her cry. He let out a punch that made the whole pillar destroyed and crumble.
"There. That blood sucking pillar needs to be destroyed for hurting my Asha and making her cry. Do not cry now my darling wife. We need to find a way to leave this place. I do not want to stay here any longer. Stupid rocks..."
Shay kicks the huge rock in front of them that rolls over. He notices that what he kicked wasn't a rock at all. He looks at it while Asha is trying to compose herself while still trapped within his embrace.
"I'm okay now. The letter was so heartbreaking that it made me sad. What are you staring at?"
Asha looks at where Shay is looking at as they both walk towards it.
"I thought it was a huge chunk of rock but when I kicked it, I think it is not. What is that?"
Shay holds the whole thing up. It was huge and heavy and there seems to be holes on the sides. Asha looks at it as Shay turns it over while they both study what it is.
"It's a turtle's shell. But a Very Big turtle. You said one of the Ancients is a Chelonian, right? That thing you are holding, I think that's his. It's the only thing that remained of him when he died."
"Are you certain wife? So the story that the Chelonian disappeared after revealing everything that happened during the divine war... he was here? He died here?"
Asha nods while still studying the shell Shay is holding up like it weighs nothing.
"The eerie feeling this whole area brings makes sense now. This whole place is his final resting place... his grave. I think he's also the one who wrote everything on the stone pillars we swiped. The letter on the pillar you just destroyed, it was written by Kurma. That's the name of the Chelonian, right?"
Shay was still in awe while looking at the shell. He tries to move it around so he can see what's inside when he suddenly pricked his hand with it. He hissed and dropped the shell on the ground creating a loud thud that echoed. His blood drips on the shell.
"Eh? Did you cut your finger?"
Asha held his hand and suck the finger with blood on it. Shay was about to say something but was speechless as both their eyes met. He blushed a deep red.
