Chapter 81 - Trespassers *

"This island is mostly covered by mountains, almost three-fourths of it. I found a few plateaus and one is very interesting. The largest one I wanna see for myself for that's where I'm planning to construct our guild's base. There's another one not far from it and it was hollowed deep. I have a theory that this might be caused by typhoons or storms throughout time. It is still filled with water and I think it will be a good reservoir for us during dry season.

The land is fertile, most suitable for farming. That's why there are many trees and plants that completes this forest at the bottom of the mountains. This would be paradise for herbivores but will be challenging for carnivores. There's the sea for fishes but we'll want to eat wild land beasts from time to time. No worries though, I've already thought of a solution for that problem. We need to go back to the Abundant Plains and hunt for different types of wild beasts, preferably a male and a female. We will raise these beasts for food.

If we are able to do all of this in a span of a cycle, how productive we would be! We will not need to hunt anymore or even gather fruits and vegetables inside dangerous forests. We can live independently and won't need any help from others. You can stay hundreds of cycles in this island and not worry of anything else. And if we have more than we can have, we can sell those to other places. Yes! That would be perfect! The travelling merchants will be back on the map! Hahahahaha...."

Asha continues to babble to herself loudly as they all trek the inside of the forest. She can't contain the excitement that she is feeling right now that's why she continues to talk nonstop even though she's just speaking out loud her ideas, thoughts and plans for the island.

All of them are listening to her. She was using some difficult words again but they can understand the gist of what she is saying. They were all smiling, imagining the future Asha is speculating to happen if all of her plans were implemented and comes into fruition.

"We need to build the base first my wife. I am not certain anymore how many days we have left before dead season comes. It would be difficult to do all of those when everything is covered in white and the weather is extremely cold."

Asha stopped with a smile on her face when she looks at Dumu.

"Hear me out husband. I'm not a hundred percent sure but I believe that this island is perfect for you, you know why? From the overall topography of the island, I believe that those mountains covering almost everything in here is a good shield for the dead season.

Those trees near the shore, those are types of trees that are sensitive to cold. You have seen how healthy and tall they are, right? It only means one thing. Snow doesn't reach this place. It can get cold during dead season but it's only cold winds. It's not gonna rain snow. I might be wrong though but still, I have a good feeling I am right. Let's continue walking so we can reach the place I wanna check...."

She held Dumu's hand and pulled him with her as she excitedly continues to trek the forest. Tarik and Onslo continues to walk behind them as they carefully observe their surroundings. The wolves, even though they can't catch up with how fast their alpha is talking, were all excited. They can feel how happy and elated their alpha female is. That only means good things are about to come and that's why they are all excited as well. Theo and the capybaras are also in a good mood. Especially the capybaras. The twins are already thinking of gathering their other groups so they can all join the female and ask if they can also join their guild. Theo just silently follows. His gaze is always on Asha. He promised himself that he'll follow and protect her even from afar especially from his brother Yllmas.

It didn't take long until the trees cleared out and they reach a beautiful lake at the bottom of a mountain. The capybaras ran towards it and Asha can see their happy faces.
