The night is getting darker as the two began to fight each other. The shadows from the trees around them is not a hindrance for them to see each other clearly as their beast eyes adjusts in the darkness. The gaps in between the leaves from the crowding branches of trees are the only path for some light from the moons to pass through and illuminate their surroundings, but still, it's not enough to bring more light.
You can hear the swishing of dried leaves as they get blown away whenever the two beasts move around. Thuds and grunts will be heard as they try to hit each other. Both of them tries to claw their enemy and at the same time dodge the attacks aimed at them. Their determination to land a hit made them more driven, every attack is meant to hurt their opponent.
Tarik fights aggressively. His patience is running thin as Dumu evades every blow he is trying to hit him. He growls in irritation for his speed is already extraordinary and yet, the snake beast can easily dodge them. He knows that Dumu levelled up to seven stars but that never bothered him. It inspires him more to defeat someone stronger than him, it is always his goal as a warrior.
He is the wolf warrior leader for a reason. He's the youngest wolf beast to have reached six stars and he's only eleven cycles old. His combat ability has always been flawless, an inspiration for other wolf beasts to look up to and strive harder. He never backs down. His tenacity keeps him moving forward. The harder for him to achieve and prove himself, the more it drives him to work harder. Losing never discouraged him, he uses all of his experience as his teacher. As long as he's alive, nothing can stop him.
But now, it's driving him crazy for he can feel that the snake beast in front of him is just playing him. It's driving him mad for he can't even land a hit despite of this snake holding back. His patience is getting thin.
Tarik threw a stream of black fire around him when he saw Dumu's sneak attack on his side. He was distracted enough already and this snake beast is taking advantage of him. He made the distance wider between them as he pants and growls at the same time.
"Fight like a beast! Are you pitying me for I am a star lower than you? Remove those things that you and master attached on yourselves. Fight like a male beast you arrogant snake!"
Tarik is in his defensive stance as Dumu stood up unmoving with a straight face. He morphs his hands back as he studies Tarik's every move.
"So you really want to die?"
Dumu removes the weights on his arms and legs. Loud thuds can be heard with every drop of the weights on the ground, creating large dents and holes in every impact.
"Ha! I am just warming up. Do not hold back for it irritates me more. Come at me when you are ready."
Dumu stretches his limbs as cracking sounds can be heard. He hisses as he walks around and eyeing his prey who is crouching in defense. He can see his sharp canine teeth as he growls at him.
"How long have you been observing me and my wife?"
Tarik smirks as he keeps an eye on Dumu's movements.
"As soon as I found out that master is staying at Baylor. Does my presence threatens you?"
Dumu laughs as he looks at Tarik in disgust.
"You were never a threat to begin with. Should I envy a beast who was supposed to be dead if not saved by my wife? Maybe I should re-open death's door for you so you can enter it with ease."
"You can try...."
Tarik swiftly runs toward Dumu as he tries to claw him again but to his surprise, Dumu vanished on the spot. He looks around the dark, trying to sense where he is. Goosebumps cover the back of his neck when he felt a very ominous aura behind him. He immediately swings his claws behind him but still saw no one.
