"We are all gathered here tonight, to celebrate the union of males and females. Finding a mate is hard to achieve in this beast world when races have been slowly decreasing, worst would be becoming extinct. But even if our world is amidst turmoil, we beast men do not lose hope.

That is why our young beast men who are with us today are lucky to have found their own to complete the other half they have been missing in their life. I am here to bless these new mates with all of you as witnesses to their union.

Let the almighty beast god Nabu and his mate, the mother of all, Gaia, bless you from the divine realm, along with the four full moons representing the Ancients that lightens up the darkness, and guide you all to raise loving and wonderful families of your own, that will continue each of your race's legacy.

You can all now say your vows to each of your mates in front of the altar with your offerings, and let us all and the beast god witness, to strengthen your union and be blessed."

Four females with their respective male mates take turns going to the altar in front of the beast god statue to place their offering and say their vows. One female have three male mates had their vows altogether, the second one have four males, and Gilda who also joined the ritual have seven males for this sacred union.

Females having the sacred mating ritual with more males is normal. The males are even considered lucky for finding a female and being their mate. With the declining number of females and the larger number of males, getting a mate is hard to achieve. That's why Asha and Dumu were getting strange looks for they are having this sacred union with just the two of them.

The other females are offensively smug at Asha for they are criticizing how she decided to only have one mate. The more males you have as mates, the better your reputation as a female. It's like having more power than any other females for you have more mates that can protect you and care for you.

What these females don't know is that for males, even if it's accepted because they all want to prevent their race's extinction, they still envy Dumu for he can solely get all the love and attention from his female. It is every male's dream that is very hard to achieve in the beast world.

The two look so radiantly blissful regardless of what others think of them. Asha wears a bra-like top and a low waist long skirt with a long slit on the side while Dumu wears a long sash half-covering his torso and a low waist skirt that looks exactly like Asha's. Their clothes were both made from his beast skin that's why the obsidian shimmer from their clothes stands out from their fair skin. They both have matching flower crowns that were made by Asha.

Despite of the disapproving looks they are getting from the females that had their vows, the onlookers including Edi were lost for words when the pair walked hand in hand towards the statue. The single male beasts were envious of Dumu, including Jedrek who hides it with a straight face.

Dumu laid down the body of a dead rhino that he hunted earlier. Females were getting envious for their mates can only offer a deer or a boar as the largest beast they can hunt. He washed his hands in the rock basin near the altar before standing beside Asha who is waiting for him.

He took off the cord hanging from his neck and untied it. Asha took the green flat band ring, while he holds the blue one. He also took Asha's left hand and smiled as he puts the ring on her finger.

"I grew up alone my entire life. And as a wandering beast, I never understand what a home is. They say that it is a cave or a house a beast man lives to feel safe, warm and sheltered. But when I met you, everywhere feels like a home. Now, I realized that for me, home is where my heart is, and my heart is with you.

Our love can hold out against our flaws, our imperfections and our shortcomings. Because our love always cherishes and loves the good in each other. I can conquer the beast world with one hand, as long as you are holding the other. I cannot wait to face the many adventures of life together."

Asha was smiling and tries to hold back her tears for it was her turn. She took his hand and placed the ring on his finger.

"I take you as my husband, with your faults and your strengths, as I offer myself to you with my faults and my strengths. Loving what I know of you and trusting what I don't know yet. I give you my hand, I give you my love. I give you myself, the good, the bad, and the yet to come.

Together we will always have trust because our promises of honesty and love will be our strength. I am yours. You can have it all. I will always love you no matter what."

The two rings are glistening in their fingers as they hold each others hand. Even though the other beasts are whispering of what were the two are wearing, but for the two, they are alone in their own blissful bubble.

"As the beast god Nabu and we, my fellow beast men, witness the vows of all the mates present, these union of mates are now blessed and is considered sacred."

Loud howls, shouts and whistles can be heard as Edi finishes the ceremony. It covers the entire surrounding as they celebrate the union of all the males and females on the altar. One couple is radiating with warmth and happiness, catching most of the attention of others.

A light drizzle came pouring down softly that made everyone smile from ear to ear as they look at the night sky. The whole surrounding was filled with a flowery scent, the grass beneath their feet was swaying with the light breeze.

Edi was deeply satisfied and happy as he looks at the two.

The night is auspicious. This light rain is a blessing from the divine realm. Their union is really destined by the beast god. Let the almighty guide and protect you both.
